"I wanna be yo baby daddy!"

So, Im pregnant and single, and have had what I feel to be an alarming number of men tell me that they want to be the child's father.

One is a very close friend who I have known for years. He is mid thirties, lonely, really wants kids, has feelings for me, so I understand why he would say it.

Ive had two guys use it as a pickup line. Out for dinner and drinks with the girls, guy notices Im not drinking alcohol, etc… a later, drunker version of him hits on me with "maybe I could even be it's dad *hiccup*" Jesus that shit is creepy.

Two more friends have also brought it up. Casual friends, one of which I went on a few dates with but decided friends only was a better match. They just bring it up out of the blue, like "Yoooo… hey… so, maybe I could be the father?" Uh… erm… nice to see you too, Jimmy?

I feel really creeped out by all of it, except for the first guy. I don't really know what to say to men when they say these things. Thanks, but no thanks? And I cannot for the life of me figure out why they think it's appropriate.

(Not really asking a question or looking for help, just kinda airing my grievances.)
