I wear it but I can look natural too without it. But since I work nights I have bags under my eyes. So I wear eye primer or foundation for the eyes.. it's embarrassing.
i love wearing lipstick. and dark eyeliner because it looks cool!

i dont wear fake eyelashes or anything, or weaves, which i notice alot of women wear fake lashes to make their lashes bigger. i just get the mascara and use that. but i dont wear mascara much because it's clumpy and i have to buy the expensive type to get the full benefit effect.

i like lip liner, because of the lips thing. I dont wear eye shadow though. And i love using face tonics and and trying to be all clean. wash the face and brush the eyebrows kind of thing.

but natural is okay too, as long as i get to clean my face and wash it, and use some tonic and lotions.

When I was younger my parents were strict on makeup. I stole it or used my friends at school and wash it off before I got home.

Also I wore eyeliner, mascara and lip liner and a caramel lipstick.

As I aged. I started with leaving out lip liner and lipstick and used chapstick. I now focus on my eyes..I stated eye primer, then a silver or white eyeshadow with white on the eyelid and right underneath my eye brow. I then pick a color either grey, brown, or black and right in the middle I fill in.

After that I use liquid eye liner..and black mascara. I mean when I am done I got the Cleopatra look even the eye slanting..and I am done. I do my own makeup different but it's not bad. I get alot of compliments on it.. but I do put it on around 5 pm, it's got to stay on from 7pm-7am for work. By the time I leave work. It just starts to come off.

I don't believe that. I'm also not a huge fan of wearing a ton of makeup, but that's my thoughts and feelings on it. It's very rare for me to have any foundation or powder on. I've mostly used it for court when a lupus rash was unsightly. I'll do eyes and lip for dates, or going out for something special. Most of the time I'm makeup free. Maybe it's my country girl heart, maybe it's my tomboy side, but most of the time I just don't want to bother with it.

I'm not saying guys don't like girls without makeup. Just that your boner reflex is more subconscious and less aware of the difference. And I think it's a more honest assessment of how you really feel.

Sure I get it if don't feel as gung hoe about chicks who overdo it, but that is not the point of this discussion. Most of the women admit to subtle enhancements when they do wear it.

It's no secret that makeup is intended to mimic sexual arousal, so just admit that you like looking at a chick that looks hornier than the girl who doesn't.

and Carlos, we will go back to the death threats if you keep talking to me like that.

I swear guys are so stupid. You??ll hear shit like —Why the fuck wear makeup— and act like they like the all-natural look better. But it's only in theory, because they all get a bigger boner for the most made up bitches. I wish they??d stop lying and admit it, or at the very least know the difference. It's just really confusing when you lie.
Lol

Ain't that the truth though!

I personally think that grooming in general is important and a worthwhile investment, your face is the first thing that people see and in most cases your first impression to other people and more importantly seeing yourself in a pleasant way can be uplifting so first an foremost I spend my money on good cleansing products and a good moisturiser

I love makeup because I'm an artist and I love beauty secrets, I find it cathartic and fun putting makeup on. I will always say that less is always more and its important to develop an eye that is attuned to finer details.

I think if we all just did our own thing and didn't give a fuck what other people did the world would be so much greater I don't have a problem with people who wear too much makeup, if they want to look cheap and tacky then thats fine by me its only gonna make me look better by comparison or if someone wants to be plain and basic then by all means be an english rose.....Just don't tell me how I should do my makeup if you're not wearing any.

must is a little too definitive. i like when women change it up, but are most comfortable in their own skin. a natural looking application of makeup most days, but something fun and bold every once in a while. nothing caked on though. i layer clothing in the winter, not makeup everyday.

i don't identify with myself as decorative, but it certainly is fun to dabble sometimes. I once said to a very lovely leo lady that I used to know, "you always look so fantastic and well put together." because she did... accessories, make-up, outfit ...she rocked it. this is when i was a lot younger and carried myself more conservatively. but what she said to me honestly changed me a little bit. she said, "thank you, my dear. i do it because Why Not? I can and it's fun." simple as that. you can take that mentality into almost any look, i think.

False. I used to wear it when I was younger, but eased off and only really wore it when I went out (which was rare) But ever since I've met my current boyfriend, I never ever wear make up. He appreciates my natural beauty and tells me that he loves that I don't wear any, so I haven't ever felt the urge to put make up on. Why make myself up to look like something I am not when I am lucky enough to find someone who loves that way I look naturally. He says I am prettiest when I first open my eyes in the morning

AWWWW.

do i hear a siren of women going awww??

my husband doesn't say shit to me in the morning but GRUNT.

lmao 😆

@Sing. It is an eccentric expression I do about wearing the kind of makeup I put on daily.. I am a Taurus, a Taurus loves ART any form.. I do have a thing about science museums, art galleries , and tattoo expos., Good music, a great glass of wine at a local winery and great food where there is alot of scenery but not too much just a right balance. I do a natural base with brown on interviews or Queen Cleo style any other day but interviews...

@ Smokeandmirrors- I argee on what you say it depends on my mood. Mine too.. Do you have an air moon or water rising sign? Just wondering..
And what do other woman say or do to you? I get alot of stares, compliments, and make eye contact directly they never look away...I make my eyes pop and it's the eye primer that is the trick and just being different and unique. Kudos

I have zero Taurus placements and I love art in any form. I'm curious, what's Queen Cleo style?

if i put on make up to go to the store, he'll say, "who do the fuck do you have to wear make up for??"

it's just a little lipstick, (like lip gloss) or mascara.

but if i dont brush my hair, he'll go, did you see that your hair is a mess??

😆
Are u kidding?
Sounds insecure.

no he's not at all.

just concern about my looks. which i like, very attentive to me.

at first i was like, screw you i'll do what i wanna do!!!

lol 😆

but i Always enjoy what my husband offers.

if he didnt care i would be worried. Because he stopped caring. I want him to care and take care of me. It's when they stop caring that a woman has to worry!!!

Oh Dear,,,,
I used to wear lots of makeup (Matte lipstick, winged eye liner, powder, brows, eyeshadow *--*) everyday :U
Is was dark times..... I was very into 50s / 60s vintage dresses, and the film "In the mood for Love" by Wong Kar-Wai was such an inspiration to me!
But I thought it was kind of inappropriate to be so "dressed" at college. I really stood out :I

Nowadays I try to keep it light ! (I really like this make up style, that has been booming in Japan)
Image Not Found

I don't wear foundation, maybe some concealer... I wear blush, and some lip tints c: sometimes a bit of eyeshadow, or cheek cream on the eyes!

I think this look would make up would look good on any girl with good skin 🙂

Do you think it's important for a woman to wear makeup, even if she looks really good without?

I look nice without makeup but my mother always told me, "ladies must wear makeup!!" True? False?
You should do whatever makes you feel good.

I'm really tan right now, because it's the stupid middle of

Summer... so not much makeup needed--

but I always wear lipstick, at least... I don't want to blend in. o.O

I wear quite a bit of makeup. But only because I'm obsessed with protecting my face from the sun. So I use moisturizer with sunscreen, and then BB cream since it has a very high SPF, and helps hide any tiny red areas.

Problem is, I do have naturally rosy skin that I love, but the BB cream turns my entire face a pale beige, so I then have to use undereye concealer, bronzer and blush to put back my natural skin tone.

It's annoying, but I can't wear a wide brimmed hat at work, which gets a lot of natural sunlight, so I need layers of defense against the aging sun rays. I'm 25, so I need to be vigilant now, especially since I was so careless when I was young.
I hate sunscreen-- it stinks, and I'm convinced that one day, we're going to

find out that it kills you.

Also, it blocks all that wonderful vitamin D... which is great for your mood. 🙂

Have you ever tried bareminerals, munchkin?

Also... green concealer takes away the red.

^ I'm big on getting enough vitamin D! That's why I only put sunscreen on my face and neck. I let the sun bask on me anywhere else. My mother always yelled at me for it as a kid because it'd cause me to get tan.

I've heard good things about bareminerals. A little wary of the green concealer tho...can't be looking like Oscar the Grouch! 😛
Ohhh.... you're not bathing in it, okay lol

You won't look like Oscar.

It blends right in-- just takes the red away.

I PROMISE. 🙂

And I like the Bareminerals because your skin still looks natural, yet matte

at the same time.

I don't use it every day, but in a pinch, it's fantastic.
