my friend actually asked me this question the other day.
Well she asked if I would date a guy in the armed services like her..
She was going on about how they are the best..
I was caught off guard by this question because i never considered the importance of a guys profession.
I said I don't it really care as long as they don't feel trapped or regretful;

My step father is owns a repair shop and he's really salt of the earth kinda guy, this is something I admire about him.
He gets up early and comes home around five to my mother.. His younger brother is this successful family attorney but he's so shady and gross, personality wise.
Like that sal goodman from breaking bad.. deff avoiding guys like that.

Most of the guys Ive seen are in school getting an education. Usually along the lines of business, law, sciences.
Yeah some of them grew and distributed bud but they are going to school too. lmfao.
I don't think ive ever really attracted guys who aren't going to school.

Anyways I don't think it really matters to me as long as your are doing something with your life... even if that means your not getting a formal education..

I'm a musician, and super artistic. I'm too much passion + emotion to handle another artist and those relationships have always crashed on me.

The last couple of guys I've realllyyy been into were super buttoned-up finance, who played and loved sports, but also had some kind of artistic or music obsession so they 'got' me. Current guy fits this profile. He's ambitious, athletic and manly but I have seen the man tear up over a song or two. Madly in love with him.

i agree. I am not attracted to men who play professional sports for a living though. I never have.

my husband's cousin who is a professional athlete is very handsome, magnetic from what i can see, and very athleticly leanly built, basically NO fat in his body, because he works hard on it but i can NEVER see myself with one. I'm just not into sports like that.

you'd have to be either a Victoria Beckham or Federer's wife type.

I notice that Leo sun/scorpio moon tennis athlete above has a wife who isn't a tennis player, but you have to really really be "built" to be with a professional athlete for a husband.
Same with marrying a policeman or astronaut.
