I am not going to go to deep in my situation with my virgo. Basically, We are exes that still remained friends. But when a virgo expresses their deep inner emotions to you, what do they expect from the listener? Just listen? Provide encouragement? Advice? It took him a long time to get to this place of being completely open about certain things that revolve around his depression and i want to make sure I am responding in a way that will help not harm

Thanks guys

@ X what do you think I should be doing then. Cause he will say "No I dont want to talk about it" then I say one thing and it triggers hour long convos where hes sharing. I just feel like I know he knows I am always there for him, but I am not sure how I am supposed to be an alli for him

@Star: I noticed he doesnt take advice or encouragement to well, but he does go off when I tell him to tell me about whats going on. WE spoke for hours last night just about his depression, in the middle of the convo he stopped and said you know what thank you so much for caring.

and Yes mam scorpio to my bones lol

I agree with @xvll27 it's nearly impossible for me to listen to someone else's issues while I'm going thru something. Because I care so much ill end up puttin my issues on the back burner and try to solve yours. This is NOT a good trait at all believe me.

Just a word of advice make your Virgo as comfortable as possible so he can continue to open up to yu more and more. It is VERY hard for us to open up emotionally due to the fear of being vulnerable. With that being said please dont judge him wen he speaks, try to be as understanding as possible so that way he will be completely honest with yu - one of these days lol

And yes be a good listener, give "good" advice and once hes said enough try to change the subject so he won't dwell in it any longer [we suffer from analysis paralysis so thoughts linger in our minds wayyy too long!]. Yu have the power to change his outlook on things rather yu know it or not...

Keep being patient and ignore the stubbornness/aloofness of a Virgo - we have feelings too.

Be blessed 🙂

Just be there for him, listen when he talks, make him as comfortable as he can be. Whatever he says listen to it, it's the tip of the iceberg something bigger than that is hidden underneath.

He just texted me. He is having a bad day, but he was like I wanted to text you cause I promised I would if I started feeling down. Then he went on to text. "You have been my little angel being able to talk to you has helped me so much"

Basically all i have been doing for the time being is letting him get out what he needs to. Thank you all for your help! I am sure more Scorps like me will need it so please keep it coming!

I dont know. I guess just the listening itself. The last time I expressed my inner thoughts to that level, someone died and my woman at the time had to pry it out of me. she was a virgo so she never forgot and used it as ammunition later on.

@hung That is horrible. We had a pretty stressful break up when it happened but i wouldnt use anything against him. Most of the time it kinda just comes out on his own.
