Family Signs

Hey all, something thats piqued my interest recently is the signs of your family (not like crazy extended family like 14th cousin thrice removed etc etc. but more like siblings cousins stuff like that) the flows/patterns of your familys signs and the possible impact your familys signs have had on your upbringing, as well as the impact you have all had on one another has a unit.

so ill share mine first, and then i want you guys to reply doing the same thing 😄

firstly my parents are capricorn (mom) and pisces (dad). dad is an only child, mom has 1 sister who is also a capricorn and her husband (my uncle) is also a pisces.
so both familys are capricorn moms and pisces dads, which is pretty ironic lol

then they each have four children ( even more ironic right?) in our family it is, leo, sagittarius, sagittarius, virgo. in that order. i would be that youngest virgo.

in cousin's family, it goes pisces, taurus, cancer, gemini in that order. so the first thing i immediately noticed when i first started examining this is how ironic it is that the two youngest are mercury, because of mercurys link with youth. and then youve got a pattern of 3 children with positive signs in my family, and the yougnest, myself, a feminine sign. in their family it is the opposite. 3 feminine signs with the fourth a masculine sign. throughout our childhood i remember the gemini cousin and myself getting along very well. we were always grouped together and were very humorous.. we kept our familys entertained at holidays and stuff by putting on skits and stuff lol, was quite fun! the two sagittarius are are both very socially awkward, dont really fit in with the rest of the family... the leo is friendly and fits in, but is also very awkward and "distant" kind of. he wants everything to go the way he wants and when it doesnt, he gets really quiet/shy or sometimes even upset. ego plays a big role with him.

my pisces cousin has always been very strange and odd, in a funny way. according to my family her and i were always spending the most time together when i was very little. we both had a very zany offbeat sense of humor and would imitate accents all the time. i remember that pretty well actually lol. i think its funny that i was so close to a pisces in my youth because today i can hardly stand any of them. including her.. she changed quite a bit. the taurus is the prettiest and cancer is also socially awkward. so what about you guys?

My Grandpa is a Virgo Sep 12th and Grandma Gemini May 28th.

Pa is Cancer June 21st and Mum Capricorn January 13th.

Sister is Taurus May 6th.

Pisces and Gemini aunts were the most loving growing up.

Capricorn uncle taught me art and fishing.

Mom and Dad are both emotionally distant from me, making me even more socially awkward and an emotionally distant person. In addition to being a Virgo.

Grandpa was always serious and threatening, I swear the man doesn't know how to deal with children.
Grandma is a controlling paranoid tyrant basically and other times a sweet harmless religious woman, who brought me up in the church.

My sister and I are from two different worlds, she's all mainstream and I'm all outlandish. We get along a lot better now, I gave up mom's attention to her many ages ago. Mom spoils her.

My mother has 14 siblings and my father has 10 siblings. Very hard for me to keep with all of their birthdays. On my mom side I am close to one of her brothers and his wife and they are both Virgos. On my father's side I am close to one auntie and she is a Taurus. My paternal grandma was very sweet and loving. My paternal grandpa was mean as a snake and he yelled alot. I never met my maternal grandparents. I have an aunt who lives with my mom and stepdad and she is a Cancer.

My ex husband is Capricorn
My kids are Leo and Capricorn

My mom growing up was very non emotional and did not talk to me much. Our relationship was strained for many years. Now that she is older things have changed for the better and she is more open. She always made sure I had what I needed and was very responsible financially.

My father was great at parenting. He always encouraged me to do well in school and continuously praised me. He talked to me about life. He spoiled me to no end. On the flip side. He cheated my mother the whole time they were together and was an alcoholic. He was bad off financially. He died when I was 15.

My stepdad was in the army but I didnt see him much because of his job as an infantryman. When he was home he was a pain in the a** and I could not stand him. He has a bad temper to this day. But he is very protective of our family. Very emotional.

Gemini middle brother and scorpio older brother.

Yes. my mother is a very large & in charge type of woman. my dad is very emotional, oversensitive, has a huge but very sensitive ego. he LOVES to be in control.. hes a major control freak and at first sight you think he wears the pants becaus my mom is such a quiet and self possessed lady. but then if you spend about a week around the house you come to realize my mother is the one calling all the shots, usually behind the scenes. all my life ive described her as a "robot" cuz she is very emotionless. yet at the same time, she cries so easily at movies, watches tons of soap operas, and READS READS READS endless amounts of books.. she has a very offbeat and peculiar sense of humor.. i think she is your typical capricorn. i think she is a very interesting character.. so enigmatic, after all these years even i hardly have her figured out! she is so calm and in control on the surface. but the next minute she will explode in a fit of rage unmatchable by even an aries. and then she'll sulk... shell sulk on her tirade for the rest of the night. and tomorrow she will start all over again.

you have quite a diverse family of signs there, cajun. the ironic thing about my family is that every sign comes in twos. two capricorns (mom and her sister) four pisces (dad, uncle, cousin, and brother's fiancee) so like 2 pairs of 2 for pisces lol, 2 sagittarius (my brothers) 2 leos (eldest brother and cousin's fiancee) two taurus (cousin and cousin's baby) two virgos (myself and cousin's baby) two cancers (cousin & cousin's husband) two gemini (cousin and brother's fiancee) two aquarius (cousin's child and brother's fiancee)so yea.. kinda strange there lol

no aries libra or scorpio in this family lol

georgiapeach its funny how our mothers sound almost exactly the same... i tend to find that link between virgo and capricorn as parents (moreover as mothers) although a big difference has been a lot of virgo parents ive known have been very childish and juvenile as if stuck in their teens. but very friendly and responsible as well. a bit strict, and with a secret bitch side.

also your stepdad sounds exactly like most taurus parents ive ever known.

i should also add that i have predicted my leo brother and his gemini wife to have a scorpio baby. shes not preggers yet, but i just get a strong vibe from them that their first born will be a scorpio. so if it happens soon and i can catch word of the due date, ill have to come back to this forum and let you guys know if i was right or not 😛

what i noticed is that i have leo sun/virgo moon/aqua rising. my son is aqua sun/leo moon/cap rising. his dad is libra sun & moon with leo rising. we all share leo in our strongest placements! my son's mostly a daddy's boy but he seems to love us both about equally. we're both his best friends he says. he also adores my taurus guy... whose moon is in aqua and is also a cap rising!
