Hypochondriacs?

As much as I love my Virgo friends (male and female), Ive noticed one very common thing with them all and I mean all of them....they are ALWAYS whinging about having a headache or a stomach ache or they're just simply not feeling well...they dont hesitate in taking time off work to be "sick" yet they're really not sick.

Ive also noticed that they can be very lazy....Whats with that?

For a sign that is meant to be so together and so smart and organised does it really take that much out of you that you have to conjour up ailments? and I dont know a single virgo that hasnt got a cupboard full of medicine for this and that and to know each ingredient in each pill? dont even go there LOL

Just an observation - still love them to bits though 😛

Then there's the morbid part - oh to talk of death and the afterlife? yikes

The Virgo chick that was stalking me for awhile ALWAYS had something wrong with her. She loved the attention she got while she was "sick". She even went as far as to tell people she had cancer which of course she didn't.

Virguy I knew had alot of "bellyaches". If he had anything less bland then oatmeal he'd claim it'd give him heartburn/stomach aches..... on and on.

So yes Chatz. You aren't the only one to notice this 😉 LOL

I would suggest that you drop your current method of observation and try to drop your interpretations of what you "think" things mean and just go with what they actually mean because you two have described the exact opposite of a Virgo.


1. They aren't whinners when sick
2. They don't want you to worry about them
3. They don't like laziness in anybody
4. They are workaholics and oppose taking off work without a valid reason


I'm thinking that the two of you are making assessements of what you "think" something means, rather than realizing that the Virgo is simple .. they don't have agenda's, as you two must believe since your descriptions have this undertone to it to suggest that Virgos have ulterior motives.

It is an observation of several Virgos, not just one and Im certainly not trying to be mean...as I said, I really like them but Ive noticed that all that I do know (and yes it is an observation) dont give a hoot about their jobs, they dont particularly feel bad for taking sick time when they arent even sick.....its an observation.

My Virgo is the first to go and get a doctors certificate for the hell of it - he has a headache, the doctor gives him a week off and he wont come back in if/when he feels better - oh no LOL. He certainly isnt a work-a-holic, not even remotely close.

The female Virgo that works with me is forever having days off for a headache or a stomach ache or just because she doesnt want to come into work.....then when she comes back in she whinges that there's so much to catch up on - duh!!!

Yes I see all the Virgos I know WHINGING and they dont mind you sitting down listening to it - you must know only ones who dont and thats ok, it was merely an observation of the ones I know 🙂

Oh and no Virgo never ever wants to be fussed over in that way, just for somebody to hear it LOL

Have you ever asked him how the weather is down there?

Maybe that you would give you insight as to why, so you don't have to base it off assessments of observations .... because weather has a lot to do with a person's constitution.

Sounds to me as though you are up his ass again, Chatz and he needs a break from you. What happened this time?


1. The majority of the time you get to spend with him is at work, since you work together ... according to what you posted a couple months ago with the whole ... girl who needed a ride home fiasco.

2. You are now making a thread that is condenscending to infer that you are irritated with his bad qualities, in which he doesn't possess .... rather, this is the meaning you are putting on them because you are going into your .... Leo needs attention mode again.

3. A doctor isn't going to give a certificate for a week off work that isn't warranted .......... in your mind, according to the way you worded that, you make it sound like he took time off work when he wasn't even sick, and you resent this.

my house has almost nothing in the cupboard. i havent taken a pill in my life other than the once a year Motrin. my immune system is unreal so sick days are a never. i complain once in a blue moon about anything let alone my 'tummy'. makes you look like a bitch and i think virgos are all about the unshakable appearance. maybe u should re read p angels post.

I don't like attention and I certainly don't whine. Maybe other Virgos do.

I do get a lot of stomach aches and I can't handle a lot of different foods. Too much dairy messes me up.

I am hardly lazy.

I can attest thought, I don't like people worrying about me, nor do I like to be taken care of.

I am all for natural revitalisation, no pills or anything artificial for me, thank you 🙂

This statement is obviously one of the stupidest things I have ever heard so far to describe Virgos and their way of life/thinking and abilities.

Reality is:

To —be at Service?? doesn't mean to be —a Servant??, if Virgos —do?? something out of ordinary that amuses the —ego maniac?? others, it only means Service to LIFE and Service to SELF not because of particular human in their life or expecting something in return as rewards, they could the same to the animals as well as plants it doesn't really matter.

It is a common practice for Virgos to test their abilities in search of life and the truth, a believable and practical universe rather than following erroneous perceptions of what we call as reality.

How do you know that, do you live in their bodies or deal with their metabolism..? Do I have right to say women and their periodical problems which sometimes make them sick to gut (really not sick)?



And what medicine are you talking about? Virgos (my type) don't even have a medicine cupboard let alone the medicine itself.

Oh P-Angel give it up - NOTHING has happened for me to be mean or to single out My Virgo......I mentioned his actions as he in particular is close to me but my other Virgo friends also do the same thing.

I guess what Im saying is that I know a lot of Virgos and they seem to be susceptible to stomach problems, loads of headaches and extremely prone to colds and flus, and yeah, never mind....Virguy has all his medication laying around (not hard to see it), in amongst all the lotions and potions for his 2 cats....I sometimes wonder how he doesnt get his cats medication mixed up with his own.

Ive actually seen him when he was meant to be "ill" and it was him during one of those weeks who decided to call me up, ask me to come on his motorbike for a ride through the hills and then dine in a buffet style restaurant...another time, he would ring me up and ask if I wanted to take the day off with him to go do some wine tasting (having nice weather and all)...I couldnt of course but he went alone - these arent things you do if you really are sick?

It is obvious that you are having a hard time letting him live ...... I'd be willing to wager that he let's you live, though.





btw ........ you said all Virgos, across the board .. when in reality, in your defense, you identify the medicines of one Virgo, and you doso in a tone to suggest your irritation with him for his way of life.

Ill to him may mean something different than it does to you ...... but, you won't have that, will you?

In 1998, my husband and I both had a week accumulated in sick leave, and well, it's a rare day that we actually get sick because of all the elixirs and vitamins and potions we take to keep us healthy ... but, here was the time awarded to us, for us to use if we need it.

We needed it .... we were sick of work, and needed to rest from it.


So, we took time away from it, to heal from it because it was becoming overwhelming ..... we had one long wonderful day, healing from the sickness that our long workdays caused us because it robbed us from living.






Seriously, Chatz ....... you need to crawl out of his ass. He is allowed to be sick for a day if he wants to, and it's not up to you to decide it means he is doing something wrong.

I let him live dont worry about that....Im sorry that my post offends YOU so much P...I really am.....you obviously take offence at EVERYTHING anybody has to say in regard to an observation about people of the same starsign.

A day off makes sense, a couple of days off makes sense but when you take a week off just because your doctor gives you a certificate for it? and you're not ill and you sit back and watch other people picking up the slack for you not only once but several times this year thus far? I find that hard to understand but I havent said a word and I wont.....he's not the only one and the Virgos I work with do the same thing.....yes we are all "entitled" to 15 days of sick leave every year but all Virgos I know take each and every one of them.

well that is exactly what I was trying to say.....its such a big deal everytime.....my sister in law (who was also a Virgo and who recently passed) was always complaining about a cold or the flu or a bad back or bad this and that - quite trivial ailments really but THEN when she did actually get something that ultimately took her life she was so quiet about it, so hell bent on beating it (and THAT I admired in her so much).

Its the little ailments that all the virgos I know complain about yet the big things? off they go into a cave.

P-Angel has taken it all out of proportion as she does each and every time......an observation has become an "issue" between me and my Virgo and it makes me stop him from living. This was NEVER just about my Virgo ever......but then again, she is protecting the innocent.......God help us all

well from what i know its true.. most of my virg friends are either sick or lazy to come to school/work.. but they dont whine about everything...

As far as hyperchondriac virgos, I don't know any. I am dating a virgo, my dad and my very close cousin are all virgos and I have never known them to be the type. Maybe its bc my fam comes from the school of hard knocks. Haha.

P does not bother me. Yea she has zero tact, makes assumptions and sometimes says things that would make someone slap the shit out of her if said person to the wrong person. But most of the time she does speak the truth. Not all the time....but most of the time and I appreciate that. As long as a person knows who they and is honest with themselves p should not bother them.

Dy, I think I like the virgo who I'm dating so much bc he reminds me so much of my father! I love my father to pieces...think he is the best thing since sliced bread. Haha. Same here. I got butter load of vitamins and supplements, from A to Zinc. 😄

I rarely get sick and usually only get Headache and stomach pain.
