Well we are all glad you survived it.

I read stories online about folks who were there N.O. in fact, I was there two weeks before Katrina hit.
There was a manufacturers event being held at the convention center that I had to attend.

When I saw the images of the people outside the convention center after the disaster, I felt helpless. As much as I was glad I was home, part of me wished i was there to maybe help someone or die trying.

Anyhow, I might still pick your brain someday regarding your experience.

Pick it apart, Ill cooperate.
The whole southern part of Louisiana got hit by Katrina, New Orleans was almost in the eye, we got the heavy winds that lifted trees, homes, and power lines. Whats fuck up is after Katrina, hurricane Rita passed thru..but it went straight to Texas. I stayed cause i thought it was gone be another average hurricane, I been thru so many til its normal.

Hahaha, I stay around college for the summer too. I just get a job in the area, which is perfectly fine by me. But I need to not be working on five papers at once... then again, I'm not ready to start my senior year either. Oy vey.

I seriously need some time to do some self-analyzing because I'm in a slump now, but I'm never getting the chance...

What do you guys have to do for senior year? I know I will have to be designing and making a final collection... do you guys have any big projects like that?

I think we have a senior portfolio that we need to do. My senior friends seem to be working on that mostly. I'm actually doing about 5 years instead of four, but it's still pretty nerve wracking to be so close to the end.
