I'm Torn...Pisces Man or Virgo Man

I love a cool down to earth Pisces, and I also love the charm and drive of a Virgo. Of course there are lots of goods and bad on boths sides but I'm just wondering if anyone else (Taurus female) has come across this problem and how did it work for you?

Every Pisces man I've known(not dated cuz I've never dated one) is a liar. Or at least an emotional manipulator.

They start off "head over heels" in love with a girl, get her all caught up, then lie, cheat, and sometimes steal before they move on to their next victim.

I mean "girlfriend."

But they always start off seeming "normal," "down to earth," and "romantic."

I mean, isn't that like trying to get someone to agree with you that Taurus's are bullheaded, Virgo's are critical, Aries are self-centered, etc ..

Here's the cold hard facts ... everybody lies, so that's not the problem with Pisces and why you guys get so freaked out about it.

It's because we are so fucking good at it, that you don't know you're being taken ... it's not US you're upset about, it's not US that anybody is upset about.

You're upset because of your own gullibility .. that's the angst, we know this already, you know this, and we know that you know it and we know that that is why you struggle .. the struggle is with yourself.

So, if you want to change something, which obviously, you can't change the Pisces ... this leaves only yourselves to change, right? So, next time don't be so damn naive and gullible and you won't have this problem.

I have a piece of advice....follow your heart. Sounds cliche but it works really. 🙂

Good advice, Air_Gem ... besides, I think the biggest problem people have with relationships is NOT following their heart.

You meet a person, everything is wonderful, perfect .. then after time, things start to fall apart. This means the two hearts are falling away from each other .. what do people do? They ignore that their heart has loved this person with all it's might and now it's done. Instead, they put focus on saying, he did this, she said that, he's a bleep, she's acting like a bleep ... that's trying to force the heart into believing what the head says.

When it's done, it's done .. walk away and take with you what beauty there was while it lasted. Nothing is forever .. so, why force your heart to make a love forever?

If we went into relationships with the intentions of loving to the fullest, to our very core .. and NOT with the intentions of making it permenant with a committment that's FOREVER .. we all might be happier because if we know we only have a short amount of time (while the heart is loving) .. we will make it the best times of our lives.

We all have this malady, I'm afraid ... because we observe doesn't make us innocent of what we see. In fact, we can only see what we know. If we don't know it, how can we even recognize it?

So ... how to get ourselves to actually follow what we can see in others, is the quest 🙂

Dy- I specified that every Pisces *MAN* that I know is liar, because they are. lol And I'm not exaggerating. Even my older brother, whom I love dearly, is the biggest liar I've ever met. Probably from knowing him, I could never actually be with -or- be lied to by a Pisces that I know because I can just *feel* that they're lying when they are. 😢

The Pisces women I've known have, for the most part, just been real sweethearts. A couple liked to play "martyr" and pretend like they had no control over their own lives/relationships and everything wrong in their relationships was their partner's fault, but otherwise they were cool. And definitely NOT liars. Ok, wait. Let me be clear - they would "bend the truth" to suit their own needs on how they wanted to be perceived = martyr. But other than that, honest. 🙂

My bro's(Pisces) lies are completely self serving.
And they usually have to do with women.
He's the most disloyal man I've ever known.
He's been with about a billion women, married a few, had kids, lied, cheated, STOLE MONEY, everything.
He's a nightmare.
I warn every woman he gets involved with that he has the balls to bring around me.
But they never believe me because they're all stuck on the charm he oozes.

I have a Pisces newphew and he as honest as the day is long .. his moon is in Taurus .. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Another Pisces newphew I have will lie about the color of underwear he is wearing, when nobody really cares about his drawers, anyway.

Maybe it has to do with up-bringing. The inclination is present, it's just a matter of what values were taught.

My brother is a virgo/leo cusp, very loyal to his gf.. somethimes I wonder if he even notices other women. His gf (aquarius) testifies that he is "everything she ever wanted" 🙂
He seems a bit too childish from my point of view and very stubborn. Also he doesn`t talk about feelings very much.

I also don't know where my brother got the lying, cheating, stealing syndrome. We were brought up in the same home, by the same 2 parents - who never cheated on each other(as far as I know) and weren't liars or thieves. He didn't grow up with that. It's just *him*. 😢

Starfish - I'm sure Pisces guys are good for a "fling", but I wouldn't get too emotionally involved. And DEFINITELY PROTECT YOURSELF! There's a very good chance you wouldn't be the only one he's "touching."

I work in the IT Industry. Dating guys who are NOT naturally the coolest guy in the room is different for me, so I'm having to make some mental adjustments. I've always liked smart guys but I could some how always pick out the cute, cool one and we have a good time. Today (adult) it's just a little harder to have the type of sex I enjoy with someone I'm not physically attracted to. I'm not running into many attractive IT Consultants....where is he, I'm sure we will connect...SMILE!

I wouldn't consider that a bad thing, really ... more like self-preservation. Of course, I'm a Pisces, so, you know ....

Many people I know, Gem's, Virgo's, Aries ... would say something like, "They were down-sizing and I lost my job". When in reality, they were fired. Except my Scorpio son, he will say truthfully, "They fired me" .. bless his heart.

With your brother, lv75 .. I've no clue. Maybe he got blamed for everything by the kids growing up? Did you guys make him take the fall for you when you did sneaky kid stuff?

You know, there are certain things Pisces will show remorse for, for things they've done .. lying isn't one of them. Just swim away to another adventure, have fun, and just experience what life brings.

For short durations, love is great, but, I wouldn't attempt a long-haul with them.

I don't necessarily consider "bending the truth" a bad thing either. Especially since I can tell when they're doing it, it's not a big deal. To me, it's usually outright lying and betrayals of trust that can cause damage between people.

As far as my brother - it was just me and him growing up. He's 4 years older than me. My parents knew us well enough to tell something dumb I would do and something dumb he would do. And he was a really good kid growing up. Was honest to a fault. According to my mom, *I* was the bad one. I would fight here and there cuz I wasn't scared of anyone, but my brother was scared of everyone. Big wuss. 😛

Seriously, I'm not sure why the males of our kind are so deceptive in comparison to the females. That's not saying the girls won't lie, of course .. but, it's usually for a cause, or to protect ourselves. Seems like the men don't need a reason.

If I were trying to decide between a Pisces or Virgo man, my choice would lay with the duration I was looking for.

If I just wanted a non-committed male companion to do things with, have adventures, be romantic, playful ... I'd go with the Pisces.

If I was looking for a serious relationship built on dependability, trust and longevity ... I'd go with the Virgo.
