Meshell N'Degeocello and other virgo artists

This weekend I was fortuante enough to see my favorite musician, Meshell N'Degeocello, play. For those who are not familiar with her, she is an eclectic songtress and bass player known to fuse various musical genres into a masterpiece. After the concert, I went home to listen to her "Comfort Woman" album and discovered she was a Virgo. I began to do some research and found out "Comfort Woman" was a special ode to Rebecca Walker. (A scorpio and daughter of famous civil rights actvist and writer Walker.) I notice a trend with the Virgo & Scorpio Union that I can't put my finger on, like a cosmic bond or something of that sort. I digress, This woman is genius. I noticed a lot of great musicians are virgos. Micheal Jackson and John Coltrane for example.

It was a great show. She covered some prince songs and did a few of her old ones and new ones. When she returns to the states,I intend on seeing her live again. She is amazing live! She has a lot of virgo traits.

- she is a very private person
- she is very reserved and has a calm intensity
- very straight forward during interviews
- very prolific in her work
- she speaks of progression of self a lot her lyrics. For instance, in "Virgo."

Another Virgo favorite of mines is: Fiona Apple. You can tell her virgo way in her lyrical style . Her lyrics are often organized and neat.

"Bitter" is my favorite album. saw her in concert years ago when it was released. burst into tears by the second song. no sure what overcame me but i was "moved."

Yes she is. She is thick now too! Her music transcends! I love her. I have the new album Devil's Halo and it is well put together, a bit more folksy than her older stuff. However, she never strays from herself. Artist like her are truly a gift in this world. Elvis Costello is another great virgo musician.
