I figured I would share it because it still makes me giddy. It's been two weeks since I got it, so it's still peeling a little, but man oh man, do I love it. I will eventually get my other foot tattooed.

Nope, it's nothing virgo related lol. And don't minus the bump, it's just a bug bite (playing around outside with kids will do that to you).

Looks good. What is the meaning behind getting that specific tattoo? 🙂

It's a little of a long story, but my roommates and I (well, past roommates since the semester has ended and we all moved out) are all very close. In fact, we're like a family (all girls). If there is one thing we identified with all year, it was the owl. We have an inside joke with owls, and that inside joke evolved into something bigger than it was. We eventually became the "owl family" with code names and everything (for example, my code name is Nite Owl because I never sleep, hence the owl with the moon). We make owl related jokes and references. So, several months ago, we all decided to get owl tattoos somewhere on our body. I planned to get mine on my foot. It took a while before I was finally able to get it, and I'm the first one out of my group to get the owl tattoo (we were all supposed to get our tattoos together, but circumstances made that difficult).

And so that is the story lol.

Thank you for sharing. That's quite a bond you all share together, making it very special. You all going to keep in touch after leaving?

We still do, currently. One of my roommates I have been roommates with since my freshman year of college, and she'll be my roommate in the fall for our senior year of college; she's one of my best friends. I currently live with another one of my roommates just for the summer before she goes off to grad school. We go out a lot and support each other very well; I trust her greatly. My other roommate is in the city as well; I don't see or speak to her as much as the other two, but we all get to hang out sometimes when we're not busy. The last person, who actually didn't live with us but was like a roommate by association is also around the area and working (she also just graduated in May). So yeah, we're all still pretty close lol.

It's truly brilliant. Love how it draws your eyes to every part of it and you forget that you are looking at a foot.
It's brilliant.
Unless the round thing to you is a pizza , it becomes clear what type of bird it is as soon as you see that moon.
Great choice.

Lol, a friend of my saw my tattoo and jokingly said, "That's not a moon, that's a spaceship!"
And my response was, "THAT'S THE DEATH STAR, DUH!!!"

But thank you so much for those words wgamador, they are always appreciated, and it's great to see you back as well.

And thank you to everyone else as well. This if my first tattoo, and I took a slight risk getting it on my foot. It was definitely painful but well worth it(and it was only $ 100).

You're very welcome. You know its not too late to get a similar Kurt Halsey inspired Death Star and Yoda tattoo on the other foot.
Just a thought.

It looks great.

Unfortunately, my left foot is reserved for a Kurt Halsey kitten lol (I'm getting a tattoo for my love for cats, go figure). But that's not a half bad idea either... lol.
