I wish I had just had one more week to be a lazy bum. I wasn't ready to worry about how I'm going to pay for a couple of textbooks when my school takes forever just to give me my paycheck.

I literally do not understand why my bank card isn't being accepted on this site. I just need to buy my damn textbook. I'm close to either throwing my laptop or crying or something.

I've gotten back THOUSANDS from Turbotax, and hundreds from H&R--they don't care about your money, babe. Do it yourself.

Really? Turbo Tax? I've actually heard alot of good things about TT...hmmm...got me thinking. And yeah, I know that stinky H&R is always stealing my money! Big businesses I tell ya. My aunt referred me to her long time tax preparer and she says he's real good but maybe I won't even need him.

And trust me CL, I hear you on that. I'm actually pushing the heater AWAY from me just to keep me awake, cuz that warmth is like a lullabye, and I don't need to lose my job over catching some stolen ZzzZzzZs, LOL!

VVxxx, try Turbotax. You can just try it, and if you don't like what you see--or are unsure, you don't have to send it in--they even check it over for you to look for mistakes before they submit it. I've done it 2 years in a row, and not ONE problem. If you're single, no dependants, you're good--it's easy.

I'm doing mine online right now. LOL. Is that ok? As in, do I need to purchase like a Turbotax CD-R or something for my computer? I just went directly to the Turbotax website...

Turbotax is probably the best if you don't want to go anywhere. I used it as well and it works fine, and it's what my mother suggested too.

Yes, take your time--don't be in a rush to send. And if in doubt, do go to the tax guy you were recommended to and ask if he could do an estimate for you (don't tell him you're doing TT) and see if he promises to get you more (which I doubt).

I wish I wasn't this stressed out, but worst of all, I don't even know how to deal with it. Looks like I already broke my New Year's promise.

I trust what everyone is saying about it but I'm gonna just give it a bit of time since it's new for me.

You know how you talk to someone and you're digging it, and they're digging it, and then it just tailspins into something else..and you wonder all these fantastic ( albeit slightly dippy and syrupy ) thoughts? Then you just mentally shake yourself until your teeth rattle and tell yourself to quit being a moron. Then you smile anyways. Because feeling moronic is just that tremendous.
