SCORPIO AND VIRGO

Restrained Virgo has trouble keeping up with highly demonstrative Scorpio and doesn't understand what all the fuss and bother is about. But there's a marvelous meeting of minds and a fine mixing of personalities. Both are devoted to family and to financial security. Neither is flighty or superficial; the deep feelings that each harbors lead to a strong commitment and loyalty. They have so much in common that maybe Scorpio won't mind that Virgo's passions are more intellectual than physical.

I find this so true for me. Recently left a marriage of 22 years where there was NEVER an "intellectual" connection, never felt believed, constantly "set up" for failure AND I was constantly being either "pawed" at or "gropped". I so welcome having my virgo friend in my life. For once I feel completely understood and believed. "Its a beautiful thang"! Intellectual passion...what a turn on !!!!

for me releasing emotion especially to a demonstrative person is usless, and exhausting; constantly having to PROVE to the person you love them, when they could just as easily open their eyes, to rid themselves of their insecurities is just to damned repetive, and to boring. I am not a HIGHLY demonstrative person, but I seethe deeply with passion; my ability to suppress, and control these emotions to such a fine point and manage them for higher purposes is what gives virgo the 'cold, and asexual' stereotype.

.......besides I've made quite a mistake; I've been comparing my passions to that of Scorpio, and believing they are unparalleled; I've found out they're equal, just less as likely to be expressed on a virgos part becuase we are not entirely emotional creatures......the logical side of us is what CAN perplex a scorp, and leave them scratching their heads. Also I like to seethe with the feeling than to just eliminate it....it's called 'teasing'....

I don't think that these two signs are very compatible romantically, speaking from experience (and of course starting from the premise that I am 'typical' Virgo, she is 'typical' Scorpio, blah blah blah). I have found that I get along like a house on fire with men of that star sign, but with women it's different. I have found them (two...one lead to a short relationship, and the second never took off) to be too full of bulls**t. Let me explain: they act all mysteriously, which attracts me at first. Then, as I dig deeper and probe them, I realise that it's all hot air. That's the biggest issue, with a close second being that they are too 'passionate' for their own good. By passionate, I mean playing games like kids and throwing strops/being jealous/sulking...again, not real passion, more like the 'he stole my toy truck' variety hehe

Of course this is my side of the story, and these ladies may well say I am too serious and that playing mind games is proof of a higher intellect...yes of course it is but only at Mensa, not with the one you love! Who knows, maybe Buddha only has the answer πŸ™‚

Tanya stop playing mind games with your silent sighs πŸ˜›

Missmorals nope, I never ever gave them reason to do that. You could say I am too open or too sociable, but I have never been described as an introvert hehe. All that money I have spent on 'emotional intelligence' books, Karamba πŸ™‚

Mind games in my problematic mind includes not saying what you think/feel/mean to say, having hidden agendas, using emotional blackmail, and generally being dishonest (as I see it). Both Scorpio girls in my life where like that...contrast and compare with current girlfriend (Libra btw):

Me: I like you

She: I like you too

Me: Do you feel like doing A, B or C?

She: Yep, let's do it

Point = Not that she does what I tell her (wink wink), but that there is direct and adult dialogue. This is what I want and like...if I want to solve bloody riddles I can do Sudoku, but not when I'm with my gf πŸ™‚

Hope this clarifies my thoughts a bit (I feel clarified anyway...I think!)

Maybe the perfect match for Virgo is Dingo...Virgo and Dingo, sitting on a tree, d-e-b-a-t-i-n-g πŸ™‚

Direct (no beating about the bush, take no prisoners)

Individual (she has her own very strong personality)

Never...(impressed by superficial c**p like watch/car/house size)

Gorgeous (to look at, to listen to, to have by my side as equal)

Obsessed (with me of course!)

Oh my God, I have created a monster!?!?!?

Hehehe well...intellect is good for those lonely cold Winter nights, but when the summer comes then I would like to see her 'not very intellectual' bikini πŸ˜› Ok seriously, show me the man/woman who claims looks do not matter (or are wayyyyyyyy down the list), and I will cast the first stone. But yeah, intellect overrides looks any day otherwise you are stuck with a no-brainer bimbo and the warranty has expired...D'oh πŸ™‚

Hi Missmorals πŸ™‚ I am writing from exotic and cosmopolitan Great Missenden, a small village near Ayelsbury in Bucks. This is where someone, someday had the divine inspiration of setting up the office (cheap, avalable and close to the station for popping down to London, their justification hehe).

Today is the big day though, I am trying to locate 'Big Boss' to hand in my letter! I got an offer I couldn't refuse (Sicilian wink wink...), so I will be a Londoner in a few months.

πŸ™‚ It is a small world, so true! I was meaning to do it yesterday, but I changed my mind. Notice handed in on March 2nd, and first day at new job on April 2nd...I like the symmetry πŸ™‚

I will be going from engineering consultancy to engineering 'business'. Quotation marks since it is not so easy to describe my new job, it contains sales, marketting, business, etc.

As much as I am fond of tranquil Bucks and crime-free, 'sterilised' Ayelsbury, I miss the excitement and variety of a big city, and London isn't just any big city...

My new office is in Hanover Place, literally a few steps from Benneton on Oxford Circus! So no more choosing between one of three locals in Great Missenden, now I will be finishing work and be straight in the heart of London πŸ™‚

I guess the elation I am feeling is what women feel when having chocolate and champagne while immersed in a hot tub full of aromatic bubbles hehe...

Sounds great on your side too πŸ™‚ Good luck to you! We have to keep in touch (insert sly Freemason handshake), as I am seriously thinking of doing an MBA a few years down the line (going from an engineering background), with a view to *maybe* entering the finance arena.

BD and PM are both very exciting fields, and I'm sure you will love the challenge and bask in the limelight (I am smelling that you are a publicity whore too, no?)! I don;t know how many hours you currently put in, but PM (from my limited experience) is like a hungry baby that constantly needs feeding and diaper changes hahahaha. I never said that drawing analogies is my forte πŸ˜›

Quote of the day: 'It is better to be loved than feared. It would be best to be both loved and feared, of course, but since the two rarely come together, anyone compelled to choose will find greater security in being feared than in being loved.'

Hey Missmorals tell me more about Libra women, especially in connection with Virgo men. From the little I have known her, I would say that she does not play games (as most people understand games...) but is very direct, which I really appreciate! She hasn't played any dramas with me yet, but time will tell πŸ™‚

You are right though in that she seems to be the 'little girl needs protection' type. Ok *ideally* I would like to be with someone who shows more cojones, but this isn't an ideal world so...and yes, she is obsessed with image and neatness (she works in marketing)! I have yet to test her jealousy potential, so cannot tell. Since I am totally enthralled by the person who I choose (meaning that I don't choose easily, and when I do, I really do), it would take a very insecure woman to feel jealous with me.

Hey VirgoC

I really couldn't tell you what they are like in connection to Virgo men..LOL..but I have a few Libra female friends in my extended circle..They are fine for the most part..but I am of the fiery/aggressive disposition and well they are this "little girl lost" which just pisses me off..cos I think they are far from lost..its all an act..and remember I am a Scorpio..so can see through the fake facade..They do need constant attention, they need to be told they are loved quite often, they are jealous of anyone prettier than them etc etc..but I guess it all depends on other planetary stuff as well like moon sign, venus sign, rising etc etc..And well if you've chosen her then great..see how it goes..I am still in the process of trapping one of you bad boys..LOL

Hehehe trapping us? You make it sound like a Rodeo or safari, with the poor Virgo who has caught your eye 'intercepted' by your well-aimed lasso and dragged into the cave to be devoured πŸ™‚ I apologise in dvance to anyone reading this who may be of a vegetarian/nervous disposition, and assure you that no animals were hurt in writing this comment (apart from the ones in my head, but they don't count...)!

Missmorals reading your posts reminds me all that I really like in Scorpio women, i.e. that animal magnetism and raw energy/aggresiveness! I would take aggresive over passive any day πŸ™‚

The quote is from Machiavelli's The Prince, and should be read in the context of politics hehe. You could use it in your romantic affairs of course, but I would strongly advice against it πŸ˜›

I can relate to that...all the Scorpio women I know or have known do appear overly 'domineering' or 'macho' (maybe not the best choice of words...) to the average man, who is as you wrote too scared to approach. I happen to like that about them in fact, it really turns me on, but then again I am not the average man hehe.

Hey you mean that you scare men even in the Cityβ€” Respect Missmorals, you must be the real kahuna then πŸ™‚ And here's ignorant me, thinking that City Boys are scared of nothing, except their mothers perhaps...
