I have a Virgo friend who recently moved back into town after over 4 years away. She seems to expect to be integrated back into my life immediately when she barely kept in touch after leaving. We used to be super close and I drove her home all the time (20 minutes out of my way). To be honest, I'm a little miffed about it. Like when she needed me, we were "besties", then when she's gone and I'm not useful anymore, it's like poof*

I've made time for her 3 times since she's moved back about 3 months ago. I think that's pretty decent considering how busy I am and she lives far from me so it's out of my way.

Also, she seems to be very competitive, like always comparing us, and not wanting to not have what I have. For example, If I tell her I bought something useful in passing, you can bet she'll buy it too. Or if I say I set up an investment, she'll do something similar. I don't want to tell her much anymore, it's creepy. I never really noticed the competitiveness about Virgos before, is that a thing?

TYPICAL VIRGO FRIEND. I moved in with one of my virgo friends and it was a nightmare. She was always comparing us, super competitive. She started hooking up with guys who had shown interest in me, wrote her LSAT right after I wrote mine- even though she never communicated to me a desire to go to law school.

She was quite virtuous but after living with me she started bringing home guys all the time. It felt like she was trying to be me...so horrifying.

Anyways, we don't live together anymore. And our relationship is HUNDRED PERCENT BETTER.

Virgo's are selfish, they put their needs before anyone else's. Its just something you have to deal with. I know when I lived with my virgo, I told her numerous times I don't feel comfortable when she has men sleep over. But she kept on doing it anyways...meanwhile every request she had about our living arrangement needed to be respected.

Unfortunately it's been a year of 3 bad Virgo experiences.

This one here isn't even the bad one.

The worst was a female Virgo from work who totally used me (pretending to be besties as well) and tried to steal my commission behind my back. She has a Cap moon.

The "we're such great friends, if we are bachelorettes at 40, let's marry each other!" move seems like a common tactic they use.

The other is a Virguy whom I will start working with later this month as an employee after knowing him for 4 years as a friend. So far, he's shown himself to be one of those Virgos who talk big and have little to back it up. Or promise things that they cannot deliver.

It seems like Virgos have a tendency to paint a picture of the future but bail on it. Then wonder why others aren't right where they left (in terms of closeness) them months or years later!

That's just ONE Virgo.

Have you had bad experiences with other Virgos?

The list goes on. For some reasons Virgo women flock to me. I have another virgo friend who is unreliable and incredibly flakey. She only texts me when its conveinent for her.

One time I left a designer watch at her house, I asked her if she could bring it to my place one night when she was suppose to come over for dinner. She never did.

I then text her asking if i can just come and pick it up, she tells me she left it at work.

Another week rolls around and she tells me she brought it to work and it was stolen. I call her out telling her the watch was over a thousand dollars and she shouldn;t of even have taken it to her work. She replied saying, "whatever, not my responsbility. I'm not your watch keeper." Totoally selfish.

I have another virgo working as intern at my office. She always asks me for rides uptown, lunches etc. Stuff that I am not at all required to give her, but I do. She asks a lot from me but gives almost nothing in return.

Maybe ive had such bad luck with virgo's because as a scorpio I give a lot and demand just as much back. If I had lower expectations I wouldnt end up always disspointed with the amount earth signs give back.

I wont say virgo is a sign I dislike. I automatically connect with virgos. They can be such positive people to be around. Its just I can't have an intense relationship with one, because they don't give that much.

I have noticed that in romantic relationships, virgos give a lot of time and attention to their love interest. But friendship wise they don't. Maybe they just don't see the value in having strong intamite connections with friends? Most virgo's I know have a lot of friends but their relationships are quite superficial.

I was able to salvage my friendship with my virgo once we gave each other distance. If i'm not super present in her life, she doesnt feel an urge to compete with me anymore. I also make sure not to hang out with her in places where she's competing with me for male attention. If we are at a dinner party with people she may hold in high regards, I make sure to talk her up- shedding the light onto her.

Virgo women can be very insecure, you have to be sensitve about this.

I am a strong believer of not lashing out at people for being who they are. If your virgo friend is being unreliable, get a leo friend lol. I don't expect my virgo friend to be there when I need a ride from the airport, anything like that. But I can rely on her to plan a perfect party for me and clean my living room lol.

i relate to the part where she goes poof and only connect with you when you meet in person. however im not competetive and despise imitating others.

why don't you confront her? i would.
Nah, I'll do the Virgo passive aggressive thing lol 🙂

Kidding, I'll just do my own thing. Wiser of course, to her ways. Fool me once and all.

It's still better if you confront her tho.. your Libra Mars and Libra Venus would make you want to be passive-aggressive but when you point out Virgos flaws, we would want to work on them.

Virgos are all about open and honest communication. I remember my friend would always say she wants to work on her flaws...but it was kinda like everything went into one ear and out the other.

My virgo friends capricorn ex eventually ended things with her because he hated that she didn't work on things he raised complaints about.

the thing with vrigos is, if its working for them, they aren't going to change.

Must say, I agree with you! They can be set in their ways when it comes to habits and routines.

After reading this thread, I must say the honesty of Virgos are highly refreshing.

Board upon board, you will often find Sun Signs under duress and becoming ever increasingly defensive if a negative example of their kind were to appear in the OP.

However, with you lot, you are all rather quick to admit, and honestly so, that there may be lesser ones of your kind.
