my virgo friend always says that he wants to hang out and picks the time but when that time comes he seems to disappear or not make any contact even when i try to get in contact with him. Can someone please explain this to me?

Virgos do this all the time...

They set a date to hang out, but somebody more important calls to hang out on the exact same day, so the virgo ditches the original plans without telling the date, shrug his shoulders and has fun with no regret or regards for the other persons feelings.

This is it pretty much...

Yeah, we, the Virgo community don\'t care...until you show some of those brains then we jump on dat AZZ.

will it not be more "manly" to tell the girl,he will not meet her,it's a matter of elementary politness and good manners.
what virgos are trying to avoid with such behaviour? eventual emotional complication?

Like the scales that compares the weight of two items, the Virgo mind does the exact same thing when facing a dilemma (rejecting one friend in order to hang out with another).

Once a Virgo potentially feels that you are of more value than their friends, or work, or family, or anything that involves them in activities away from society (job) THEN he is interested.

Nothing to do with them being scared of rejection, so the misinterpretation of a virgo being insecure is thrown out the window for another time and issue...

In that sense, a virgo will ditch you if you are not meeting his standards. Does not mean that he can reason or understand you, but a Virgo is very pragmatic (reasonable and rational love seekers), not flakers, but they can leave a date if they feel they aren\'t able to connect.

Remember if a virgo cannot connect himself with you then he is not interested (everyone does this, but only a virgo will choose to announce it from a realistic perspective...kidding 😉 ).
