Virgos as Best Friends

I have to share this with you. Yesterday my sister in law passed away after a 9 month battle with cancer. It was for the best as her pain was excruciating and although I feel so very sad for my brother and wished he nor anybody for that matter had to go through this kind of pain, she, hopefully is at peace and can now have her dignity back. She passed away on the same day she met my brother 5 years ago - on his birthday. Oh what a sweet and sour day that will always be for him 😢

Anyway, My Best friend, Mr Virgo, who lost his wife 3 years ago was the first to be the one who took me out last night, to dinner, then coffee at a little place to talk for a while, and then a movie.....he KNEW Id need the distraction and he KNOWS what we're all going through because he's been there, done that and although it must have been really hard for him to relive what happened to him through my talking about it he was the one who made himself available, he truly cared and gave me all the time I needed....he has to be the sweetest person I know on this earth and Im so glad that I have him in my life.

But having said that, all the Virgos I know are so very caring and genuine when it really matters. There are times of course, like most signs/people, that they can be difficult but OMG it must have been hard to relive it - he was visibly upset and it seemed like he spent a great deal of time yesterday thinking of what it'd be like before picking me up last night. Just a gut feeling and Im not sure whether this will help him by reflecting on the similarities of what he went through and now what my brother has to or whether it will upset him more....Im hoping it will help him as he still struggles often with her passing.

I just had to share and just say how wonderful it is to have so many Virgo friends who truly care about other people. If only you'd ask for help when you were down - argghhh LOL

I caught him continually looking over at me whilst we watched the movie and he couldnt keep his eyes off my face the whole night we had dinner, etc.....At one point I just wanted to cry because I felt so cared for, genuinely cared for and that he didnt want to miss it if I did cry....strange but he's my little guardian angel LOL

Most people just say "sorry to hear that, hope you're ok" but the fact he dropped everything to be with me and almost took on the pain for me for a while meant so much. I just wish I could help him heal from his own pain but I know I cant and I know he wouldnt ask for help....but thats another story.

He sounds like a great person, Chatz....and I am SO sorry for your loss, especially for your brother. He will be in my prayers.

I HAVE to say, though, that I have not experienced Virgo women to be particularly sensitive to the nuances of female friendship! I got together with one Virgo gf whom I hadn't seen for ages, and a mutual jealous Aries/Leo gf found out we were going to coffee and asked if she could come. Well, I told Virgo gf "NO!" because this particular Aries/Leo gf is ALWAYS breathing down my neck....

SOOOOOOO....what do you suppose Virgo gf did? She told Aries/Leo gf "Well, I would, but EAGLE GIRL does not want you to come." I mean, how dumb and naive is that—!!

I found out next day, and Aries/Leo gf was very wounded (yawn) and screamed at me for something totally unrelated....so I dropped her as a friend. (She was a Leo with Aries rising and Aries moon -- you could barely BREATHE with her around because she always had to be the center of attention and of everyone's life.)

I also have not called Virgo gf. What a twerp!

Problem with your Virgo woman? they seem to find it hard to lie and sometimes end up making something worse because of it but Im sure its not on purpose. My Virgo is like that - he cant stand dishonesty and finds it unelievably hard to do himself. I find most Virgos honest and fairly open but OMG can Virgos hold a grudge - so glad Ive not given any a reason to do so - phew hehehe.

My brother is doing ok but he's now facing some resistance from her family...they want her buried next to her mother (who passed away 2 years ago) but she wanted to be cremated with her ashes scattered over their little farm in another state......yikes!!!! As if there isnt enough sadness - blah. Oh and she was a Virgo by the way and my brother a Gemini.....to have a love like theirs (even though it was only 5 years) I can only dream of 🙂

Oh Chatz, I have just created a new topic on my Virgo whose father is battling against cancer! It just stuck in my head all day, how he was feeling now. How would I be if I was in his place... I am deeply sorry for your loss...
