I found out today the virguy I've been talking to got me a gift (a "crush") through the school that I'd receive on v-day. I wasn't suppose to know, but some people I know are in charge of the booth.

I thought with as little as I've been msging him lately, and showing no signs of flirting or affection, that he'd lose interest... but he's coming on stronger. And it's kinda a turn off :/

Is this regular virguy behavior or is this due to his venus in scorpio or aries moon?

Paradise,

Your thread title says "Virguy responding well to disinterest"

Then you say:
...you expected him to lose interest but hasn't (apparently) and now this is a "turn off"

What gives?
Say what you mean, or mean what you say.

Also, If you weren't supposed to know, then your 'associates' in charge of the booth have no integrity.

Lemme try to clarify this for you. I tend to be a bit too quick for earthies.

I expected him to lose interest because usually if someone isn't msging you as much as they used to you take it as they're not that interested in you anymore. I figured this is what he would gather from the drastic change I made. The turn off for me is that he's coming on strong when I don't want him to attach to me at all, cus I don't like him that way. I didn't mention it but only because I had a thread up earlier stating I didn't like this virguy like that.

The integrity of the people of the booth is irrelevant at this point, but in their defense they didn't tell me the name, I just guessed. It was obvious tho that he was the secret admirer

Virgos tend to take things at face value. Flat out tell him you're not interested.

I agree with YourSunshine; just tell him you're not interested, never will be and to get lost! Ok not that rudely but you get the picture. I can't stand when people just don't say what they mean and instead rely on others to "get it". Some people don't respond well to subtle (or sometimes even overt) hints. I know I'd appreciate the directness--just tell him.

So, you assume that he is suppose to understand what you want according to what he gathers?

You say he is taking the disinterest well, while describing his actions as coming on stronger.

Are we suppose to "gather" that you are playing a head game?

I would like to think he would understand that if I began to grow cold toward him that I do not like him anymore.

I tried getting colder last night.. or at least giving him the impression that I only liked him as a friend. Talked to my cap friend today and she said she talked to him and he got the hint. Which is great because I just wanna be friends, and now so does he.

Guess it all worked out in the end

Yeah I hear ya. I was going to if he didn't get the hint, but luckily he understands
