Virguys like surprises?

this virguy that i am interested in (and i assume he is interested in me... because he said he was) is in california until the 23rd. he asked me what i was going to do on the 23rd, i told him i was going shopping and then maybe go pick him up where ever he was going to be that day... he replied with his address told me how much he liked me and then stopped talking. his text after that was about how he was going to bed because he was tired and "you don't want me to be cranky, lol jk" usually he calls and tells me good night, and if he doesn't call he will text things like "good night, sweet dreams, sleep tight" and send kissy faces... i love those kissy faces but instead tonight he sends me a text with a thumbs up emoticon and says gnight...

i think it's because i said i was going shopping before i go to pick him up, what he doesn't know is that i'm going to go shopping to get him a "welcome back" gift. he has been talking about this red nintendo ds that he wants, so i thought i would go get it for him... he is the first guy that i (knowingly) have been interested in that is a virgo. do virgos/virguys generally tend not to like surprises?

Virgos are awkward when receiving gifts because they feel like they owe you a favor in return.

But if you already built that "relationship" with them, they actually do appreciate gift giving gesture. In your case, it doesn't seem like you have that foundation just yet, perhaps a card instead would be better.

Did you say anything in return when he told you he liked you?
