What do Virgo Men see in Leo Women??

I am a Leo (with Mercury, Venus and Mars in Virgo) and I've been dating a Virgo for the past 4+ months and I am crazy about him. Besides him being smart, caring, handsome, talented and wickedly hilarious -- we also have a very intense passion between us. In typical Virgo fashion, he is highly critical of behaviors in others; and sometimes, these behaviors are ones I possess. For the most part, I am able to take his criticism to be constructive and a great way to stay honest with myself. It's not always easy; but I get it, respect it and I am eager to learn from it. HOWEVER; it is proving difficult to deal with getting very little in the way of reassurance, compliments or romantic gestures. I have to look for small things he does to see that he cares. I know he does, deeply. But, on occasion, it would be nice to be reminded of this from him. Him reaching out rather than me looking to see if it is there...

I guess because he is so smart, caring, etc. etc. I always feel like I don't measure up. He is a true perfectionist and sometimes I feel like a clumsy, schmuck compared to him and have no idea what in the world he sees in me. About a month ago he told me I was "pretty great" and then recently I got upgraded to a more definitive "great" -- meanwhile, the connection between us is so much stronger than that. Our eye contact is very special, there is a very strong magnetic force between us. It's just that I really don't know what he sees in me; which makes me fear that he has put me on a pedestal which he can easily pull out from under me.

Am I right to be suspicious?
Is this just the Leo side of me wanting more attention? Or an ego stroke?
(I honestly don't think so; I am not asking for this often; but at least once would be nice.)
Or is it valid to ask for a bit of a compromise here? And if so; how in the world would I go about that?
Also; do Virgo Men say 'I love you' at some point?

You have low self esteem. You need to work on that.

hey. im a virgo girl dating a Leo guy with mercury, venus, and mars all in virgo. so i can kinda relate to what ur saying. I think ur virgo is just being really careful about his choice..he doesnt wanna jump the gun and say the L word n then turn his back on u. thats a great thing. since im with this leo for years i know leo's constant need for love and reassurance. But the virgo will take his time...but once he's sure of his choice..he will relax n be more open with expression tiny things matter to us too. n if he thinks ur great..then woohooo for u girl cuz a compliment from a virgo is usually genuine.

I mean the most gorgeous woman i have ever been with is a Leo.
This girl turned heads, even women stopped to stare.
I wrote a poem about her cause our nights in the jazz clubs were so memorable.

A Leo woman can almost heal the most broken of hearts.

Well you know the Leo in you wants the stroking lets get that out of the way, that is a given and anyone who dates a Leo wil learn this in LEO 101.
But I think that you need to stop with the low-esteem or low self-confidence, cause thats a huge turn-off.
Especially if you are beautiful. I know I cant fall in love with someone who feels they dont live up to some standard.
You make it sound as if he is out of your league. Thats not good. That mentality will crush your relationship with him.
We recognize weakness in an instant and could be why he is apprehensive about saying I Love You, plus we dont just throw those words around like we are playing Scrabble or something.

It amazes me that when someone googles 'Virgo Men' usually the first things one will read is:
If you looking for romance and passion, want to be showered with affection and cheese.....look elsewhere. We arent about quantity but quality. Yet time and time again we get chased by women who NEED that type of thing.

I think this is my concern. I know that Virgo's need intellectual stimulation -- and he is so smart -- seriously genius smart. I am no dummy -- but I can't keep up with all the many things he seems to know everything about. He liked me for a while before we started dating and I don't want to just be someone he gets bored with because he was only physically attracted to me. I would like to think after 4 months he is not just dating me cause he finds me attractive.

I recently broke up with my virgo male after 9 years. For the most part our relationship was good. Very few arguments. Lots of affection. I found out that he has a secret side which he hid very well. He had a porn addiction & was very nosy. He hacked my email several times and not just my email either. After we broke up which was very recent, he tried to come to my house & i told him no because I was tire. I actually was on my way out to go on a date. Come to find out, he followed me. He saw me with my date and he knew exactly where we went.
I would say virgo is a great match, besides the fact that they hide things because they hate to be criticized. I really loved him, but the snooping did not stop. I dealt with it for longer than i should have. Also, you should find out from him how far he wants to take things in a relationship. I have male friends who are virgos and they all seem to be happier single for some reason. They are very emotional, even though they pretend to be strong and unemotional.
