When Opportunity Knocks

Looking at some women I feel so much regret for my bad timing. So many suitable women that were single back then, but I wasn't. Now I am single but they are not

I see photos of them with their bf of husband. I see their lives so happy with their man and I feel its so wrong to picture myself there in their place

Had I known things weren't going to have worked out with my ex, I would have never invested that length of my life

Never remembered looking back and wanting the past ever. I've always looked back and smiled with satisfaction at the distance I've travelled. Never the same, always different. Better than last year, better than last month, better than the me of yesterday.

Haven't been single for this long in a while, but I can't help but wonder where is this woman I'm supposed to bank my energy into

To put my mind inside the mind of a woman that has the same love philosophy as I do, I just can't imagine where they are spending their time. Probably after liberating so much mental energy in the day time, I've got to rest.

Virgo is known for being picky and having high standards, maybe its time I widened my search criteria, I often wonder why some people have such high standards and that makes me question my own. Are they reasonable?
