ARoarLikeThunder's Poetry Thread

I used to write poetry everyday.
...that was like a year ago and only lasted a couple weeks.
However, I remember it to be quite refreshing, liberating, challenging, and fun.
A way to release.
Freedom.

So I think I want to start it back up again in the form of a thread.

I encourage anyone who feels so inclined to comment, critique, compliment or whatever else.

Before I post any new material though, I have some old poems I'd like to post first. This first one is actually the second poem I wrote. It is a simple, generic love poem but I think it's cute and I hope you agree.

"Short and Sweet Just Like You"

I scribble desperate to prepare
Write, rewrite, destroy, repair
A simple poem
Short and fair
Though fear you may not even care

Beneath these words
Between the lines
Before this bores
Behind the rhymes

A message, dear,
I'm dying to make clear

I love you

^ This is great and all but the point of this thread was for me to post my poetry on a regular basis just for others to read and comment. Hence, the title "ARoarLikeThunder's Poetry Thread".

I'm sure people would like a "MzSag's Poetry Thread". That would be cool. But, uh, this isn't it so...
