And how was your experience in group VS individually?

What attracts you to it?

How far can you dissociate your own self from the role you are playing? (do you see traits of your original self finding their way out into your roles?)

Are there times when you have any difficulty transitioning back to your own SirHorns self? (incase you are the type to get deeply engrossed into it)

What is the appeal in it, for you?

Will come back and ask more if i have more questions(: ..share your experiences....when did you begin..etc etc.. What you like most about it!

IDK what to ask...answer the questions in your OP, Sir :p

What do you mean though? Like the character in the story you wrote that day?
No, that was original writing.

Role-playing is getting together with some friends to write a story. It’s joining around a campfire or a dining room to spin some tall tales. Role-playing is being creative and having fun with friends. Sometimes that can originally made characters or pre-set (Think of characters from favorite book,s tv shows, games, etc).

1.Group RPs were more cohesive in a sense, since the limits and boundaries were clear. All the characters were (usually) from the same world/franchise/fandom so you wouldn't run into situations where the character you were Rping as ran into another version of themselves or say someone like Cleopatra, Iron Man or Bambi (The Disney move Deer).

2. The potential to explore so many storylines and how interactive it is. I've made plenty friends over it and it's great way to bond with a fandom without getting into a war over opinions. (usually)

3. I'd say quite far, however no matter what the personality type, my characters had the issue where more often then not, they were running the show. To the point I can recall one RP were if my character didn't take charge, they all would have died. DX

4. Not at all! The line is always there but usually people before they know you personally, address as your character or call you your character's mun. I normally play dudes so I've haven't had the moment where someone addresses as a female and then later learn I'm a dude. (Though there are A LOT of females that play as male characters...)

5. It's fun, flexes the mental muscles and get creative juices going and you can create so many in-side and funny moments with people you become friends with by RPing. Also it's great to get praise over how well you portray as character!

We grew up so fast...dont get me started 😢 it feels like just yesterday I was 15. *cancer rising nostalgia*

Anyway, what role/s is memorable for you and why? 🙂
My first OC, who started out as just a simple rank and file agent for a government police force, and ended up being THE most powerful human character in that group in terms of influence, recourse and was considered one of the powerful and respected heavy hitters in the group. (I have a lot of stories to tell about that group...) It wasn't intentional that he end up growing like that and just thinking of where he started and ended up, makes a smile come to my face. *Cue single proud father tear*

Marshal, an Elite Four member (powerful person) from the Pokémon Franchise. He marked a lot of firsts for me. First time playing a canon-character (pre-set), first time RPing Pokémon, since I mostly just played the games and mainly watched the anime in my youth. First time Rping on Tumblr, so it was how I learned how to make an RP blog as well. He went from being the buff dude with eyebrow hair to actually become a favorite of people in the group because of how I played them. I made them care and that there is a wonderful feeling. (Also have quite a few stories to tell as well.)

Last but certainly not least is Lance, same franchise as Marshal, but he's a Champion. With him, it was the first foray into independent Rping (rping outside of groups). Sweet mercy the fun I had playing as him. Dude was super popular and the relationships he formed...(Amazingly no one hated him. You either liked him or harbored secret attraction toward him.) My success with him lead to make a couple more independents and once more, I have stories to tell.

Ah MMOs~
Forum stuff, huh? Which fandoms? What kind of stories/plots did you enjoy writing/playing out?
Was shipping a huge thing on your forum?

Used to go over to my buddys house, listen to viking metal, and play D&D- We had a set crew of people- did it every Saturday night for a few years

Had a lawfully evil Psionic, He was pretty legit.

Another friend of mine has a massive collection of weapons and armor- So we'll dick around that stuff.. Not really larping, just us acting retarded- cause duel wielding katanas feels OP 😛

Never rped in an mmo before- I've known of people who have tho- not really my scene. It's like a game within a game- gameception!

Plus it's seems like it's always centered around...like frisky stuff, ya feel me? So that's just creepy.

So how did you get into it OP? Did a friend introduce you to it, or did you stumble into it on your own?

Well my experience was more text Rps toward fandoms, MMOs I have very limited experience with.

Though yes, seen quite a few (mostly female) Rpers go bonkers over relationships and the frisky, kinda. 😐

Anime Club. From there the seed was planted.
