if you take a look at our great nations history you must come to the rationalization that if you stand for a righteous cause you must be prepared to die brutally
a man who promoted non violence and peace, shot in the head point blank, those of you familiar know him as Ghandi
a brave man promoted civil rights and racial equality, you know him as Martin Luther king, assassinated in cold blood outside on the balcony
go back further,Abraham Lincoln took a stand for what was right and said slavery must be abolished, john Wilkes Booth didn't agree,a theater in Kentucky saw Lincolns life demolished
Rosa parks said i also deserve to sit up front, her promoting fairness left half the country in a uproar accompanied with racial tension and unwarranted disgust
if i could reach to anybody it would be the rich kid in the suburbs who is depressed and his parents are not around to pay attention
or the youth from the inner city, surrounded by violence, odds stacked tall, scared they will never get an honorable mention
just by chance run into the kid who is about to turn the firearm on himself and innocent children while nobody can figure out the reason
slowly remove the burner from his palm, and tell him that the pain from the students who are teasing him is part of the growing process, but the hurt is only for a season
these are just examples of famous pioneers, but what's more important is the people next to you and me that take a stand for what they know in their heart to be right, for the better of future generations to come, without a care for accolades or recognition
there will be fierce opposition when you stand for something you believe in,but if its worth dying for, that's the key to know you are completely living
I find it hard to deal with some people on here who speak about how wrong the U.S. and U.K. are in the stand against terror. Do not get me wrong both countrys have made mistakes so big mistakes. But the two countrys who have stood up against wrongs in the world and tryed to help the rest of the world catch the most hate and shit. Most of it coming from people who never stood in harms way. They have no idea unless they have lived in a war zone or had a love one who has been a solder or they have been a solder.
