How I love You

poetry,i remember when we first met i was young ,maybe around 6th grade

you were so kind even back then,you said just bring your pen and pad whenever i wanted to escape

i was so young back then,i would write you so sloppy just jotting down phrases and incomplete thoughts
but as i got older i realized you were the one,i treated you better and made the commitment you asked from me to always write you straight from the heart
you are so patient with me,there were times i would wonder and ignore you for years
i know it had to be hard for you to forgive,but you said as long as my pen coincided with my thoughts you would never disappear
we have had our ups and downs,as i aged i realized how many others loved you and how important it was that you shared your beauty with others
and even though you go astray,i have no doubts you have been the most loyal lover
you really show your heart because your available at any time,and you let anybody write you without holding judgment over religion,beliefs,views,or skin color
poetry,i know i could never have you completely to myself,i just want you to know your the most luminous woman i know,me and my pen will forever be loyal to you,and i just wanted to give you a friendly reminder beautiful lady oh "how i love you"
