compassion comes in all shapes and sizes
but the lack of, sometimes surprises
it seems humans devolve and become more like beasts
and this is why you see compassion cease

using people of all diversities as disguises
as time goes on, you would think, people would become more aware
but racism still exists behind the eyes of the detached stare

well, then i want to speak
dear god, there has to be a reason you made us all different
