I will not know until our eyes meet #
Then we will see, just how we greet #
When you hold my hand, #
then and only then #
Will we know to be lovers or friends #
I see your eyes as deep as the night #
I shed light where no man has delight #
But with this comes the quiet #
I walk alone, ready, and into the unknown #
Bye the time our eyes meet #
We have already shared some defeat #
Of looking and sharing, caring, understanding #
But does that continue, to meet expectations within you? #
I will dance beside you # I will dance within you #
I will dance the romance no feet can turn #
I will dance with great pride, #
I will dance with shame #
I will dance without fame #
i am no champion #
I will not sit a pole, #
or do the stroll #
But the dance of a lover, #
will there be another?
