Capricorn behaviour

Here I go again, another Capricorn.. Here is how it went, please give me your opinions 😅😅

I had an amazing date with a guy on Friday.We went to have a drink and eat something. He paid for me even though I offered and he said that next time I can pay when we meet again. Then We stayed talking until 1 am in his car looking at the sea.. . He told me he enjoyed himself a lot and to meet next time and that we have a lot of things in common, he asked me a lot of questions that night.. He took me home....He was shy to make a move, he accompanied me to the door and stayed there looking at me 😅 I Made a move and kissed him goodnight. Told him to let me know when he arrived home. He did and said he loved talking with me and practicing another language and we should do it again on the next date. Then the next day i didn't hear anything and i sent him hello after 16.30pm.. He replied and we had a casual conversation.. But towards 9.30pm he stopped replying.. He didn't really have to, as it was a casual conversation.. I didn't hear anything from him yesterday.. And today.. 😐 I am really confused. Maybe he got overwhelmed? Why this behaviour.. I am still hoping he will text me 🤞

I heard that Capricorns get overwhelmed sometimes and they pull back. Is he gone or do you think he will re emerge? :-)

I know i know, you are right. But nowadays times are a bit different.. People easily ghost, so that's why I was wondering if this is normal behaviour or not.. My logic says if someone likes you, they get in touch, even a hello.. 😅 But not everyone is the same, i understand that 😊

This isn't really a Cap issue - it's more about you. As @ATGR stated already, some people prefer their space. Besides, people have other things going on in their lives. It's way too soon for you to be considered top priority.

After a first date, I usually give it a week to gauge whether the other person is still interested. If you don't hear anything by then, simply reach out. Nine times out of ten, you'll know where you stand afterwards.

If any of the above isn't what you want to hear, may I suggest you work on your personal insecurities.

Thanks for your input, it's not about being insecure, it's just confusing to me, this behaviour. I just wanted to see if it's normal for caps as I read that they are one of the hardest signs to understand. Of course I will wait. I already did my part, now the ball is in his court, if he is not gonna reach out then up to him. I didn't expect to be top priority, of course not, but for me it's normal to text someone to say hi especially if I like them.

I don't have any experience with Capricorn males to be honest. Even Aries never dated one, but I read that Virgos are usually compatible with Capricorns because they are an earth sign as well. However it seems that Aries is not a good match. Honestly I had good experiences with Leos, Geminis, Pisces, Scorpios.. I didn't match with Libras and Aquarius.. I am trying to find out more about Capricorns because I don't have any previous experience with them :-)

Yes cat lady astrology is obsessed w/ Virgo and Capricorn being the perfect pair… lol. It may seem that a lot of the “incompatible signs” for us can be very compatible and give us what we need in a healthy relationship. But I wish you all the best tbh who knows sometimes caps can surprise you.

This is unfortunate, and that in itself can be overwhelming. To feel like you have to be in touch, respond to message someone everyday...just typing that makes me feel annoyed.

I'm a Capricorn woman and for me it depends in the guy. If he is really obvious in his attention towards me then I do feel overwhelmed and pull back.

However..if he is gentle and subtle then I'm more likely to open up and be more responsive.

Having said that, if a guy is a little closed and not showing me much, That can make me pull back too.

Hi thanks for your reply 😊 yes your reply was veey helpful, I think I showed him too much interest that's why he pulled back.. I took initiative and gave him a kiss and the next day, i texted him again. I was too enthusiastic maybe 😅 hopefully i didn't scare him away. Yes Virgo men are usually colder than Virgo women in my opinion 😅

BUT capricorn men are NOT the boring, walk in the park that was promised to us. they're stonewalling, arrogant, controlling, greedy, hypocritical users who read your spam emails. imagine a dude literally blaming you for his hoecraft coz you 'made him like sex too much.' what a poor, innocent man.

Sounds like a nice date idk. I'm a Virgo Sun as well. But did you come on too strong at any point? Maybe the kiss even? Cause I know some people out there think any intimacy on a first date is a deal breaker for them. I'm not gonna question why, cause everyone has a reason. But not everything has to be your fault, I'm just throwing out different possible reasons here.

Maybe it could just be that he's a dry texter, but loves talking in person or by call? I know so many people, especially extroverted people prefer this form of communication and don't like spending too much time around their phone or are just busy. I know Sun Scorpios are like this, it seems like they've ghosted you and will take forever to reply back because they're so busy and a lot of them are extroverted lol and frankly, talking to you through a phone just isn't enough social stimulation for them. Because they feel like they're texting a robot. And they just prefer face to face bonding cause it's more intimate and fun for them. You could try calling him, but maybe ask him first, or just go for it if you feel confident enough to!

Did you try texting him again today though? Or just call or text him and you plan the next date instead. Us Virgos are star student planners and organisers usually after all 😆 maybe he's testing you to see if you can also put in effort by initiating stuff with him too, especially if he asked you on a date first.

A male Capricorn in my course who I have been made to work with recently has made us get into contact and closer than before (not romantically, just in general), but I sensed that he was also trying to sus me out to see if I'm a potential match for him. That's what I felt in my intuition anyway. Our in person conversations and interactions are way more fun and comfortable than texting. Our interests aren't very common either, other than our career passions and the fact we both love baking but meh. We get into good convos about our career and career passions though.

When it comes to texting, he's very dry 💀 but in person, he's great. And I've met some people like this before. So just be aware and don't jump to conclusions before you've exhausted all options I think.

Personally, I know someone isn't right for me if they start testing me with mind games because I am not about that crap but anyway you do what feels right in your intuition 🙂 good luck, friend!

I've never dated a virgo but I never seem to get on with virgo women sadly. They seem cold with me. Maybe because they think I'm cold. And the 1 or 2 virgo men I've casually chatted with in the office, I find them hard to read.

Sorry I know this message is to the original Virgal, but I'm also a Virgo woman and I just wanted to say personally Sun Sign Capricorns are hit and miss for me it seems. But I'm not holding negative bias, I still give chances to any Cap I meet just as with any other signs.

On a general vibe, I do find Caps hard to read and cold. So that's maybe that's why you get a cold vibe from Virgos too. I don't like interacting with people who are so hard to read and seem cold and unapproachable. And if both parties feel that way then Rest in Peace to that bond happening unless someone takes the initiative!

I used to have negative Sun Sign bias, and one of them was over Capricorns too but it was when I met a Capricorn dude in my class who I got along well with and have now had many fun conversations with that now I have completely dropped having negative Sun Sign bias. It's proof that birth chart synastry matters the most.

Maybe you'll find a Sun Virgo you get along with one day, just like I have with this Cap dude! Oh and yeah, I find it okay interacting with other Virgos, but it's seriously awkward when conversing with them sometimes and I totally get that. We're very socially awkward people 😆

I had an amazing date with a guy on Friday.We went to have a drink and eat something. He paid for me even though I offered and he said that next time I can pay when we meet again. Then We stayed talking until 1 am in his car looking at the sea.. . He told me he enjoyed himself a lot and to meet next time and that we have a lot of things in common, he asked me a lot of questions that night.. He took me home....He was shy to make a move, he accompanied me to the door and stayed there looking at me 😅 I Made a move and kissed him goodnight. Told him to let me know when he arrived home. He did and said he loved talking with me and practicing another language and we should do it again on the next date. Then the next day i didn't hear anything and i sent him hello after 16.30pm.. He replied and we had a casual conversation.. But towards 9.30pm he stopped replying.. He didn't really have to, as it was a casual conversation.. I didn't hear anything from him yesterday.. And today.. 😐 I am really confused. Maybe he got overwhelmed? Why this behaviour.. I am still hoping he will text me 🤞

Sounds like a nice date idk. I'm a Virgo Sun as well. But did you come on too strong at any point? Maybe the kiss even? Cause I know some people out there think any intimacy on a first date is a deal breaker for them. I'm not gonna question why, cause everyone has a reason. But not everything has to be your fault, I'm just throwing out different possible reasons here.

Maybe it could just be that he's a dry texter, but loves talking in person or by call? I know so many people, especially extroverted people prefer this form of communication and don't like spending too much time around their phone or are just busy. I know Sun Scorpios are like this, it seems like they've ghosted you and will take forever to reply back because they're so busy and a lot of them are extroverted lol and frankly, talking to you through a phone just isn't enough social stimulation for them. Because they feel like they're texting a robot. And they just prefer face to face bonding cause it's more intimate and fun for them. You could try calling him, but maybe ask him first, or just go for it if you feel confident enough to!

Did you try texting him again today though? Or just call or text him and you plan the next date instead. Us Virgos are star student planners and organisers usually after all 😆 maybe he's testing you to see if you can also put in effort by initiating stuff with him too, especially if he asked you on a date first.

A male Capricorn in my course who I have been made to work with recently has made us get into contact and closer than before (not romantically, just in general), but I sensed that he was also trying to sus me out to see if I'm a potential match for him. That's what I felt in my intuition anyway. Our in person conversations and interactions are way more fun and comfortable than texting. Our interests aren't very common either, other than our career passions and the fact we both love baking but meh. We get into good convos about our career and career passions though.

When it comes to texting, he's very dry 💀 but in person, he's great. And I've met some people like this before. So just be aware and don't jump to conclusions before you've exhausted all options I think.

Personally, I know someone isn't right for me if they start testing me with mind games because I am not about that crap but anyway you do what feels right in your intuition 🙂 good luck, friend!

Yes I think that maybe I might have gone too strong kissing him. I don't usually do that but I sensed that he was waiting for that to happen.

I do agree with you about the fact that some people are dry texters. And I also got this vibe from this guy. In person he was really talkative and we didn't have any pauses due to lack of topics to talk about.

I didn't text him again after he stopped replying.. I was thinking I should give him some days to think if he would like to reach out and perhaps see me again.

Maybe I will drop him a text in a couple of days to see how he is.. I really don't know what to think. As a virgo I think silence is an answer because usually when I don't text its because I'm not interested, but I do understand that not everyone reacts the same, some people need space.

I'm confused because during the date and after going home, he told me that he really enjoyed himself and was looking forward to the next time we go out. Then the next day there was like a 180 degree turn 😅 and silence.

Oh well we'll see how it goes. I will give updates should they arise 👍😊

An update.. After 4 or 5 days i text ed him hi and asked if he would like to go out again, he accepted and he seemed very keen and we continued to text. Then the day we were supposed to meet he said he had trouble at work and he had to work later that night. I said no worries and if he wanted to hang out he can message me. He said that's a deal. One week passed, I haven't heard anything back from him. I already archived his chat. I think hr wasn't interested enough so I won't waste anymore time.. I guess Capricorns are not a good match for me.
