but i have to say it's so real

i've never really felt settled on one job

i used to work (not chronological) for an environmentalist, there was a fundraiser i got into, then stem cell, there was marketing, heck there was even that job involving loans. was an intern for the government a couple of months and then i also got a job in a bank.

and for a while i fantasized about getting into dentistry which i kinda did for like 2 weeks.

now i'm in insurance LOL.

Meh, I've had a whole bunch of jobs. Ones I loved and ones I hated.

Even the ones I loved doing sucked in a big enough way for me to want to stop. Tryna do my dream job built on my passion never worked either, really sucked the passion out of what I was doing tbh. except one which was an outlier on everysense.

Now I'm pretty pleased with what's going on. It's a bloody bland job but turns really wanted was to be my own boss and earn heaps of money. Having no one telling you what to do and all the rewards/consequences of your actions on my shoulders is a good feeling. Everything else is bullshit, passion is overrated, money's where it's at.

yeah, I fit most of the symptoms for ROCD which is basically a type of anxiety disorder around relationships....its more a fear of dull routine and stagnation/lack of growth than anything...I view the goal of most relationships as learning, and continually adopting different perspectives, so if I have a fairly dynamic partner I'm ok....it seems you just need the same wrt to employment. Either a very dynamic role, or you need to jump around a lot w/in a company...my Sag gets really bored and will only stay in a role for 2 yrs max, but she works for a Fortune 50 co., with high turnover rate, so many different positions always coming open, and just keeps jumping up the ladder...she sees it as a video game....its worked out to her advantage, as with a lot of larger companies that's actually the best way to play the game these days...

Well what I found does not help a lot to your cause, but remember that mideheaven says you become a specialist on the situation and you will overcome it. So what I found is that labor is important to you and you seek constant expansion, but with that comes so many energy from that expansion, that you need to prune, to control the situation. people keep saying 'start your own business' but i feel like i'm just gonna dump it along the way for something else then dump that too for something else again.

i've never found true stability especially in my jobs.

what do you feel about being like this? you accepted it? at some point i got really scared for myself coz i can't seem to just settle. but then i get more anxiety when i stay for too long so i need to move on to something else so i can get rid of that terrible feeling of dread when i overstay.

this sucks.

i can't quit my job now coz my relatives gossip about me, about how this is the longest one i've ever kept.

not like i even visit these relatives outside of holidays or family gatherings.

i just attend coz i have a crush on like my 3rd cousin or whatever.
