i'm just mostly annoyed.
coz gossip follows me be it at work, hell even online.
it blows my mind coz i am so self-involved like maybe i should blame my first house too. i barely pay attention to other people unless i like them or there's some quirk about them which confuses me why they love to talk/speculate about me.

It's easy to get annoyed about you not understanding the poor side of life, but the truth is I don't understand what it's like to be the one rich person people are always staring at and wanting things from either. tbh with you, i know there's a lot of terrible things in the world but sometimes i don't really like seeing or hearing about it. just i don't wanna know about it. i once cried at work when the kitten i adopted died and my scorpio sun/cap moon co-worker told me that lots of kittens die in the world and not just mine, that it's probably happening right now as we're talking. my cap sun/libra moon grandma likes to tell me really messed up stories too but i don't really wanna hear about any of it. tbh i don't like the sobering, depressing, crushing reality of capricorn/saturn even if it's my 3rd dominant.
i like to listen to a lot of scary/creepy stories but only when it's mixed with the impression that it might've been somewhat made up/fictional.
anyway, i have mercury in the first so i just say whatever comes to mind sometimes like in a stream of consciousness thing.

No. People will gossip regardless. They will gossip even more if you’re lowkey and secretive. Why does that bother you? Ask yourself that.
How many rocks do we count? How one can make sense of all of these contradicting descriptions? It's partially prof deformation or just laziness but i don't go beyond sun moon nn and asc anymore and houses where they are in. Like that's 80% of personality. I can live not knowing the 20% 😆.

probably some element of hypersensitivity/paranoia and or complex around persecution (not uncommon for Virgo/Pisces) involved as I noticed you mentioned online gossip, which seems very unlikely...
at work, if you're standoffish/snobbish as you say, give off a vibe of entitlement (late to work, napping, reading, generally not too concerned about your job security, etc.), and in addition, are seen as being well off in comparison to others, its to be expected that some people will interpret that as having a sense of superiority, and talk shyt about you...its just human nature...

That's the root of the problem though - your self-centered nature hinders you because you're embedded in a collective and disregarding that.
You can rarely move forward embedded in any collective by routinely disregarding its members - especially in the corporate world, there is always a political aspect, dues to pay, etc. Gossip in the workplace can make or break your career. At my co., I avoid entering into management intentionally bc I see how callous it makes people and how much you have to conform, but I stay very close to my boss and his boss as a matter of strategy. And I've noticed it is just such a common thing that managers make major decisions around hiring/firing based off gossip/hearsay gleaned from an employee's co-workers. I'm a lead on my team, and I remember the first private meeting I had with my regional manager. His first question was "So who is the weakest link on your team? Who would you get rid of if you had to?". If I disliked anyone in particular even for personal reasons, that would've been my chance to put a target on their back.

like i got into stonecutting then bumped into this pisces sun/libra moon who studied geology but ends up playing football instead but yeah i moved on from that and my interests in those things might also go away lol and turn into something else

story of my life, honestly....can't retain or focus on anything that I'm not passionate about, so rotating books, hobbies, etc., as I get bored of the old/inspired by the new, is the only way I can progress....I'd probably be the same with jobs if I actually did any work, but my job is like my shell company for my hobbies so I need something stable....

yeah I don't really like socializing/drinking outside of work with office folks myself, but its sort of required by my most recent manager and I can't avoid it now. He is really into "team building" and books these food tours where you ride around on a bus drinking, hopping to different restaurants and bars. I find it awkward and exhausting. I've called in sick to avoid them some days. I also typically do the bare minimum and try to fly under the radar as much as possible. I really think its my Cap Ascendant that makes it seem like I'm a hard worker. People tell me I look really focused and serious at my desk all day - I'm sure I'm furrowing my brow while I listen to philosophy podcasts and skim-read emails that I just assign to other team members lol...

i can work really hard and obsessively in things i'm into or i'm curious about but my interest moves from one thing to another
my scorpio sun/cap moon co-worker says he reminds me of chet morton (hardy boys) who picks up a hobby every other book lol
like i got into stonecutting then bumped into this pisces sun/libra moon who studied geology but ends up playing football instead but yeah i moved on from that and my interests in those things might also go away lol and turn into something else
story of my life, honestly....can't retain or focus on anything that I'm not passionate about, so rotating books, hobbies, etc., as I get bored of the old/inspired by the new, is the only way I can progress....I'd probably be the same with jobs if I actually did any work, but my job is like my shell company for my hobbies so I need something stable....
