How do you post images when you create a topic?

How do you post images when you create a topic?

I right click the image on the net that i want, get it into a new tab on its own (open in new tab) and just paste the link. It comes up in the post. Otherwise save it to the hard drive and upload it to a pic uploading site and get the link from there.
