Leo man FWB or...

I am very confused so i need some advice.

I met a Leo man whom i was meeting over the weekends and spent the weekends together. We also had a 4 day vacation together - his idea. But each time he said how great friends we are. He admitted that he shared things with me he never shared with anyone, and he feels the deep connection between the two of us. But he cannot move forward because after 3 years of his break-up, he is still in love with his ex. They don't talk, and he said that they were very different. We used to talk to each other everyday then we stopped talking for a few months, no contacts at all. Then very recently he was looking for some advice, chats started again. Almost everyday. And...we met. We met 4 times in 10 days. He took me out for dinner, he even came up to my apartment and stayed until 2am and absolutely nothing happened. He said things like i missed you (in a funny way), i value you, i like you and your mentality. He used to say that a lot in the past too, but was very clear that he wants friends with benefits. He introduced me to his friends, and we did a mini vacation together.

When we stopped talking to each other, i used hard words with him. I know that we agreed no relationship but it hurt when he said that he is still in love with his ex and i remind him of her a lot. I totally lost it, so we had no contacts for a few months. He did apologise saying that he agrees that we went too far with this fwb thing. He kept telling me that i am an amazing woman but we met in the wrong time.

Now, when i met him. I started to have some feelings again and i dont know how i should go about it. We spent hours again together, talking, really deep convos. I missed that but i cannot be his friend. I still want more and in the long run if we keep chatting everyday like we do now, it will hurt me.

I am a Taurus, he is Leo.
