Venus or mars?

For Venus to be "dominant" - a conjunction with the Sun, Moon, Mars or even the ASC (sort of, dominating those around - simply by having a charming presence). If judged alone (picking one of the two planets) - Mars is obviously an archetype for dominance, tho... it also depends if Mars is afflicted (more or less crippled) or in Sign that's a bit of a pacifist... like Mars in Libra or Pisces... while at the opposite side of this spectrum - we have Mars in Aries or Scorpio - which can ravage anything in their path (rather... violent - even tho Aries is direct and Scorpio is like a silent assassin - which you notice when its blade is already piercing your guts) if Mars is strongly positioned. Venus in Aries and Scorpio - despite being imbued with same qualities - is more of a pleasure to witness this qualities (or embody if conjunct with the ASC/SUN/Moon).

i can’t sense someone’s venus sign even if my life depended on it lol but i can sense someone’s mars sign really easily lol so i would say mars is more noticeable in people at least for me lol

for example whenever i meet a straight shooter, it’s usually a fire mars. a fire mars will even make a normally shy/reserved sign like cancer more outgoing, courageous and forthcoming. i’ve been friends with this cancer dude for four years who has mars in sag and i couldn’t believe he was a cancer at first. he also has moon in leo so that might be helping too but with him, i don’t detect any passive aggressive, “read my mind and decipher what i’m feeling” bullshit that many water/earth dominant people are guilty of lol 😂

a fire mars is never afraid to speak up.

they’re unlikely to be one of those people who turn into poets at midnight on twitter and post emo, cryptic tweets hoping to get a reaction from a special someone or something (cryptic instagram posts etc) 😂 fire mars/moons usually don’t engage in this sorta midnight poet behavior lol 😂. they just come out and say whatever tf they need to say and get it over with lol 😂

also, when i see a good communicator, it’s usually an air mars. i’m close with a scorpio dude who has mars in libra and he’s one of the most tactful, effective communicators i know. scorpio energy has a tendency to be emotionally constipated (for fear of revealing their true selves and being rejected for it) and they think vulnerability will be exploited so scorpio energy doesn’t like to be vulnerable unless they feel safe.

someone having fire or air in the chart makes things so much less complicated in general in terms of communication and action lol

water/earth isn’t as forthcoming or communicative as fire/air so can be tricky. earth is grounding and persevering though. and water is intuitive, empathetic, creative. so all elements have something unique to offer at the end of the day.

they say that moon is people’s “inner world, how they introspect, their inner desires” and mars is people’s “initial reactions, initial impulses, how they express anger, how they go after what they want (their goals and such etc)” so some people’s moons might not be as noticeable as perhaps their rising or mars during the first few encounters. their moon might come out more after they’ve let down their guards? i’m not entirely sure but yeah lol

air moons/gemini moons tend to process their emotions by talking about them/putting labels on them.

i don’t know about other air moons/gemini moons but i don’t really like having emotions that i can’t put a label on. lol i don’t like confusion/not knowing what i’m feeling. confusion makes you feel powerless and feeling powerless is so uncomfortable for me (especially being an 8th house sun).

i need to put a label on everything cuz i don’t like the “unknown”. i don’t like letting nameless emotions fester in me and controlling me 😅 lol

i think it’s an air sign thing though (needing to make sense of emotions by communicating or analyzing them). cuz i had this type of conversation once with my libra friend and she also said she had a need to make sense of what she’s feeling so that the feelings don’t “control” her. she’s a triple libra (sun, moon, mars in libra, venus in 7th)

being rational makes air sign dominants feel like we at least have some control over ourselves. 🙂 being a libra, you might be able to relate 😅 lol you do seem very calm and in control of yourself and your emotions all the time (at least here on dxp lol) i’m an aries so i haven’t completely gotten a hold of my impulses/temper yet 😂 still working on it lol 😅

I do think moon sign is more noticeable when people speak because their feelings or lack of will show. I think it's the moon sign and not the mars that shows in the manner when they express themselves. There are usually feelings attached to when people speak whether it's when they're angry or happy. Even how they rationalize situations etc. So I would say it's more noon than mars.

You do seem very collected and reasonable. I don't see that much Aries temper tbh haha.

aw thanks but what you see on dxp is only like half of my personality 😅 lol i’m way more rambunctious in real life lol my spouse can attest to that lol 😂 high energy, can’t stay still for too long, like to go on adventures, like to play wrestle lol 😂 etc i rarely get upset or angry though 🙂

I think I know your energy if it's similar to my ex. That Aries temper is just different in your chart and that's what I meant by not seeing the typical Aries temper. Extremely impulsive yes but angry no.

My ex didn't have one mean or malicious bone in his body. He would never go out of his way to hurt someone. Honestly just a very genuine nice person. Some people turn really malicious when hurt or in a disagreement with their partner and will say the meanest things to you just to try to hurt you. He never once did that. Ofc we fought and had our disagreements but it was civil. 😂

Honestly I would say he's a far better person than I am. 😂

water/earth isn’t as forthcoming or communicative as fire/air so can be tricky. earth is grounding and persevering though. and water is intuitive, empathetic, creative. so all elements have something unique to offer at the end of the day.

I also have zero sense when it comes to Venus sign as I didn't pay too much attention to that either. 😅 But I would say probably mars more than Venus is more dominant.

they say that moon is people’s “inner world, how they introspect, their inner desires” and mars is people’s “initial reactions, initial impulses, how they express anger, how they go after what they want (their goals and such etc)” so some people’s moons might not be as noticeable as perhaps their rising or mars during the first few encounters. their moon might come out more after they’ve let down their guards? i’m not entirely sure but yeah lol

I do think moon sign is more noticeable when people speak because their feelings or lack of will show. I think it's the moon sign and not the mars that shows in the manner when they express themselves. There are usually feelings attached to when people speak whether it's when they're angry or happy. Even how they rationalize situations etc. So I would say it's more noon than mars.

I think I know your energy if it's similar to my ex. That Aries temper is just different in your chart and that's what I meant by not seeing the typical Aries temper. Extremely impulsive yes but angry no.
My ex didn't have one mean or malicious bone in his body. He would never go out of his way to hurt someone. Honestly just a very genuine nice person. Some people turn really malicious when hurt or in a disagreement with their partner and will say the meanest things to you just to try to hurt you. He never once did that. Ofc we fought and had our disagreements but it was civil. 😂
Honestly I would say he's a far better person than I am. 😂

also, when i see a good communicator, it’s usually an air mars. i’m close with a scorpio dude who has mars in libra and he’s one of the most tactful, effective communicators i know. scorpio energy has a tendency to be emotionally constipated (for fear of revealing their true selves and being rejected for it) and they think vulnerability will be exploited so scorpio energy doesn’t like to be vulnerable unless they feel safe.
someone having fire or air in the chart makes things so much less complicated in general in terms of communication and action lol

Haha the last paragraph that was so me and my ex. He always made very hasty decisions and also not thinking things through or trying to squeeze things into last minute. I get stressed just thinking about it. 🙈😅
