Gemini and cancer potential relationship... or not

So, the story goes like this... I met this girl online. We hitted it immediately, very strong verbal and mental connection. She asked for my number. Switched from forum dms to whatsapp. One week of texting more and I finally invited her for a coffee, we live 10 mins apart by car. But right around a corner, lockdown was declared so drinks fell off. But we countinued to text, and after two weeks, when I saw that this was going nowhere I invited her again for gin tonic at my place. She said that shes very busy as its christmas time and all of her close and extended family are in town but she has a little bit of free time on saturday(yesterday) and that she likes the invitation. She also joked that flirting is not allowed and that us cancers are very good at it.

I said ok and that she can come anytime between 5 p.m and 8 p.m. I also prepared something to eat like cheese, bruskets with olive oil, nuts, chips, cranberries, blueberries, gin spices and started waiting for her from 5 p.m.

She came at 7.45 p.m. Ok. She brought some tonic and chocolates and was in good spirit, very bubly, talkative and happy. There were no awkward silences and everything seemed to go very well, apart for some weird convo about weed and her joking that I should make some muffins next time. BUT she was looking at her watch constantly. I dont know if I was boring or what, but the convo was good so I dont think thats the case. And all of the sudden, after only 45 mins she told me she has to go and she speeded her way to the door and said that I can contact her whenever I want. I think she was scared that I would make a move when standing close to her when opening the door or...I dont know, Ive never encountered this behavior in my whole dating career. To leave just like that. I have a hunch that she wont text me back and that I have to make a first move again. She definitely likes to be chased, said that her ex, also cancer stalked her. I dont know if she likes me or if shes just very friendly. My plan is to wait till christmas and text her then. I dont want to be pushy or show that im very interested in her, which I am.

I think that there is some connection and I dont want to toss two months of texting and all those extremely long and intresesting convos in garbage.

Hello highschool games...or maybe im just overthinking.

Oh, and two things more....she said that she sold her car two days prior to that drink date cancelled by corona and now she has one...maybe its borrowed... And the other thing, she asked me about falling in love, and she said that its very complicated for her to fall in love and it takes very long, but when it happens, it hits her like a truck.

Any advice is welcomed. I have zero clues when it comes down to geminis!
