So now that I've been friend zoned officially...how do I ask for emotional space?

I'm not the type to ignore/ ghost someone.

I also don't lie. She tried to hang out / get work done with me tonight.

Luckily I had a legitimate excuse this time.

I know I definitely acted differently around her today ...so she was friendly but could definitely sense a change and so was less in my face.

I also already passive-aggressively indicated my disappointment in how things turned out via song lyrics and a quote from one of my favorite short stories....

the coolest thing is to tell them you you're going to hang with someone you met on tinder, even if it is a lie, is like a fuck you right on their face.... not that I have ever done that kind of things ofc 👺
