An an Aquarian woman, I am not to skeptical or big on contraception. I see it like this. When you have sex with that person without protection, you are basically giving them a health card that was assigned to you. You are basically signing an invisible contract that allows me to endanger your health at any time. As an Aqua, instead of having sex with multiple people that I know deep down I wouldn't trust with my life (because that's what you're doing when you "give it up" to anybody), I'd rather just have sex with the person I know I can trust with my life so that I won't have to constantly be worried about getting pregnant or contracting some kind of deadly disease. And I always tell a man upfront: If you can have raw sex with me, then you're signing an invisible contract that means that at any time if I were to get pregnant there would be no talk of abortion or the "we can't do this" bull that alot of men and women pull. You having sex with me means that if I'm worthy enough or good enough to have raw sex with, then I'm worthy enough of all the consequences that stem from having sex: pregnancy, fatherhood/motherhood, etc.
Instead of paying tons of money a month for contraception, I just prevent all of that extra anxiety & stress & pick the RIGHT partner. Birth Control pills have alot of added negative side effects that are not good for a woman's body & personally, I don't think it's fair to myself to put myself through those extra "side effects" or "risks" just because a man "doesn't like the feel" of condoms or can't keep it in his pants. My thing is, if I'm going to take birth control, are you going to pay my medical bills if I have a bad reactioon to the medicine or actually end up dealing with one of those "rare" side effects the medical company warned us about? When asked, they usually say no so boom, there's your answer. If the answer is not yes, then they're not worthy of having sex with me. Period. Point blank.

I don't think it's just Aqua Females....Aqua Males too.
I live in Africa so with 1 in 3 people being HIV, you HAVE to be careful about who you sleep with. When Aqua and I first started sleeping with each other we were both quite fanatical about contraception. I wasn't on the pill so we used condoms, every time without fail. No condoms, no sex.
After about a year or so I started relaxing a bit about it and after comments from him about sex never being spontaneous having to always find a condom I decided to go on the pill. I had to trust that he wasn't carrying on dreaded disease (but I was pretty certain since he'd had a test rather recently for an insurance policy on the bond) and knew that I wasn't.
Even though I'd been on the pill for some time and was probably 100% protected it still took some convincing for him to abandom the condoms (go figure since HE was the one moaning about them).
Eventually he did and God forbid I should ask him to wear one now because I've been throwing up with a stomach bug or on antibiotics....
For him though, I think he was fanatic about it because of disease but moreso about an unwanted pregancy - he wasn't committed and wasn't about to force himself into it (typical Aquarian). For me it wasn't so much a pregnancy (I wouldn't mind) but rather catching a disease!
Now he's casual about...we went on holiday and forgot to pack my pill. We were in the bush miles from nowhere for 3 days and I was pretty adament that we should drive into the nearest town to get another packet. He wasn't too bothered, told me to chill and we had sex all over the place!! Even on the deck in the open when the rest of the family went game viewing!!! 🙂
