I am embarrased to post but I finally did talk back to my Aquarius after ignoring him for days. He sent and left me urgent voice messages asking to borrow $ 300.00 last Wednesday, 8/27. I didnt have $ 300 but lent him $ 150.00. I wrote out a promissory note and he basically seemed offended so I let him off the hook.
Shortly after getting the $ 150.00 I texted him, no response. The next day, I texted him no response. I sent him a text meant for someone else by accident on Friday, 8/28 and he got upset and told me not to call him anymore. It was meant for another guy. In any event, I texted him back and told him that I would honor his request but he needed to pay me. He basically sent an ugly text back stating that he would pay me that same day (8/28). He never told me when he would pay me though. Since that incidents, I have sent him texts, but no response. Do you think he will pay me my money back? Have anyone had a similar experience?
Aries...at least now you know...even if you never get your money back at least that fuckhead's out of your life. Sorry to say but reading what you wrote just made me really angry. Yes you really do need to re-evaluate yourself but how dare the creep take money from you, knowing that you were probably an easy target to get it from, and then ignore you when it comes to paying it back—??
The Aquarius did not give me my money back as promised. Instead he made a point to argue with me and then finally said, "I am not going to give you are money back and dont call me no more". I really hate that I ever met him.
"I wrote out a promissory note and he basically seemed offended so I let him off the hook."
As I see it...your FIRST instinct was to protect yourself by writing a promissory note - this is also an act of honoring yourself and the other person as well.
At the moment he was offended by your action (to give him a p note) you had two choices - to continue to trust your first instinct and let him express his disatisfaction (cool, no problem) and then say, "if you cannot agree to accept and sign the note - no monies" and left it at that.
2nd choice - was to change your mind according to his wishes making it easier for him to not be responsible. (you gave away your power at this point by letting someone else make your decision) *note...this was not a compromise.
You are now presented with two more choices and how cool is that? (I just love choices)
Take him to small claims court or forgetaboutit.
No doubt that you will experience new lessons with either choice and find our more about yourself in the process.
I think the moment you asked him to sign a note and he was offended gave you a huge clue of his integrity - he at that moment let you know he was not to be trusted. Someone who honored another and is trustworthy would be more than happy to sign a note because they know it will not be an issue to pay the person back. I also feel that by you needing to ask for a note to be signed by him KNEW deep within that he was not trustworthy.
I would most likely say that while you were in this specific classroom in the school of Life, the lesson to be gained was...trust your instincts and do not allow for someone to dishonour you. This was a lesson you needed to learn and he was appointed to be your teacher for this experience.
Your greatest satisfaction will be that the next time this opportunity arises (and most times they do till we learn the lesson) you will now have the experience behind you to know what to do and boyyyyyeeee will that FEEL good!
Then.....onto another lesson 😉
Welcome to the School of Life where our mission is to "experience" Life.
