Can Scorpio and aquarius last?

A lot of people say aquarius and Scorpio relationship won't last, wats your views?

I'm a Scorpio and my crush is an aqua. We get along well because we are both calm people. The one thing that would make things go down hill is if I let my emotions and jealousy get to me. Aquas aren't outwardly emotional so if u can handle that too then u have good chances

Its either a yes no or maybe.. everyones experiences say different

I personally know of a aqua/scorpio couple still together and there are other examples of real life people on the net too.... It can last It just matters I think if the two people want to learn what the other has to offer. It's hard because they are two fixed signs that are stubborn BUT lol are 99% of the time immensely attracted to each other. You ask any of those scorps in the scorp forums I betcha anything all of them have had a hot scintillating relationship or fling with an aqua that died for one reason or the other usually it's ...... "Aquas say to many insensitive things that hurt me" or "I just don't understand him/her". My original reason for joining this site was to get some more real life perspective from real scorpio women because I am interested in one at my school. My mother is a scorpio but I feel I only know the real side and not the self protecting shield side. I do think though it has the best chance of working for some reason when the male is the aqua kinda like with male aqua/female Leo relationships

They can if the following things need to happen:

- Aquarius needs to learn how to show his appreciation/love, he needs to not be as independent.

- Scorpio needs to learn how to give him space, not to show jealous, and to control the temper.

Well i dont know how scorpio males are but me in general:

I need security meaning I need to be reasurred every so often that im #1 in your life or at least important to you more than any other competition

I also need someone who can talk to me about deep things or at least willing to listen when i do.

That's pretty much all it takes.

That's pretty much all it takes.

I feel like I would possibly mess up the first part; in my mind my partner should know that and not need the reassurance. If they do then I would expect them to ask for it. I know, it defeats the whole purpose. I know I'm fucked up, I just want to express how I feel.

I'm fully aware of the feeling, but I just can't accept it. It's like my force field gets instantly activated. Then my weirdomcgee side comes out and I become a superhero evade and dodger and look like an idiot.

I wish I could just get past this way of being.

I wonder if I'm just fighting my aqua nature or what?!?!?

Its more of a you are who you are sorta thing.

You can't be anyone but yourself.

You aren't hardwired that way to be clingy. You need your space. Scorpios don't as much.

So you gotta accept that if you wanna date scorpio otherwise lots o fights.

In my situation with a male aqua, our year long fight started because he was always MIA when i transferred to his department to help them. And he was always MIA socializing with everyone else. What does this scorpio do: I see this as MAJOR unforgiveable neglect. But to the scorpio he saw it as, "wow she's so talented, even moreso than me...I need to give her space so she can do her thing."

Trust me it was tough to accept that's how anyone could view it. To care (at least to me) means quality time...your Act of Services (See Gary Chapman's 5 love languages). If you care you will not only help me but you will also be there "physically".

But he was neither of those...or at least less of those. Anyway fights broke out becuase of that.

THings didn't get better until I accepted HIS VIEW of the situation even though i didn't agree with it, becuase I was accepting of it, coincidentally he's not MIA as much. He still vanishes here and there but at least now I know where he "could" be and that is reassuring in itself and him being like a squirrel bouncing from thing to thing doesn't bother me anymore.

More rather like doing laundry without asking, chore type of stuff. Washing dishes, fixing your car whatever...

According to the 5 love languages if he is an Act of Service guy...he shows he cares by doing stuff for you and deems that as an act of care if someone does something for him.

If he's a quality time guy, just spending time with him is enough

If it's words of afirmation, he needs to hear praise/compliments

If he is a toucher, he needs to be touched (in a non sexual way) to feel loved

etc.

Anyway me as a scorpio i am a mix between Act of Service and Touched person. I think.

Im not sure i forgot.

As for SF79, it's interesting to know you actively seek security. I know a lot of people do it sort of as a confirmation and I always think that's where I failed. I don't seek it partly because I really hate relying on another person and other part being if I choose to be with you that's all the security I need.

Just becuase one chooses to be with someone isn't enough for Me (Scorpios). I need reassurance sporadically (not all the time becuase that's clinginess to us) but by any fashion...gifts, doing something for us, thinking of us, praise/compliments, affection) etc.

Scorpios can be insecure by nature so we constantly doubt people love us as deep and as passionately as we love them.

i tell my husband i loves him daily. but not just saying it, snuggling and cuddling as mucho possible when he's home. but mostly taking care of him. he just eats that up.

YES! Aquarius and Scorpio as well as Gemini and Scorpio get along like peas and carrots.

Every Scorpio I've known seems drawn to these two signs because they're hard to figure out and pin down and Scorpios like that sort of challenge. And then, they end up getting married and staying together forever until one of em discovers they're gay (my Aquarius aunt discovered this about herself after being married and having a child with her Scorpio college sweetheart).

rachael mcadams has a gemini moon too. don't know which house but she's digging michael sheen's virgo moon. lol

I think any couples have the ability to last.

What makes the Aqua and Scorpio drawn together is the Scorpios deep need to be loved as passionately as they feel internally and Aquas give the facade of that becuase they have this way of making people feel safe, secure, and comforted.

LMAO...yeah, but that's why it works with Scorpios. It provides a challenge like Aquarius. Aquarius and Scorpios are soooo freakin' similar only Aquarius is wayyyyy worse.

Oh no Gem's are worse they flip flop within the conversations.

Aquarius just end the conversation quickly and get distracted and leave the room to do something else.

I say hell no. I'm an aqua who made that mistake 4 TIMES. I have a scorpio mars, too.... my uncle, who is also Aqua has a Scorpio ex-wife too....I say "nuff said". Dangerous combo. Someone's bond to feel hurt in that combo!
