Cancer man back.....again

So I asked her to refrain from talking to someone that just offered my gf to have a baby. She admits that the way he asked (via text) was a complete no no. But she tells him "well there would be things that would need to happen before we even go there" WOAHHH STOP RIGHT THERE>...tf about me and the situation we just had with this man and us just finally calming down. It's scorpio season and she is in full effect.
It's been a few weeks now maybe almost a month and I haven't heard anything from her about the guy. Now today she tells me that he has been hitting her up and that she feels so bad for not responding to him. I told her (for the umpteenth time) to be friends with him and that I feel bad. I said that I don't care but I do, but it's whatever. What the heck? What am I doing wrong? Why does she care so much?
