depression, mood swing.. what is wrong with me ?

things are getting pretty dirty these day. 1st of all i really want to apologise as english is not my first language.
now coming back to the topic.

yesterday a very strange thing happened.. i was watching a movie. the movie was good. it was about a famous musician who loses his fans and fame due to alcoholism. But he then decides to turn a small time singer into a rising star. he fall in love with her.. and some mishaps happen that he had to attempt suiside in order to help the girl to promote because she was becoming depressent due to his behavior..

the movie was a sure success but when he killed him self.. it was something i couldn't bear.
i really don't understand what has happened to me. i have seen romeo and juliet and many other tragedic romantic movies but this? why am i being so depressed on a characters death?

well i called my crush/ friend to discuss about the movie who actually is a cancer guy. i tell him straight away that i don't like this movie why the guy had to die? his response was somewhat * have i lost my mind * he even adviced me to watch comedy as i can't take tragedic movies. but i knoww this is untrue.

this same guy is under the influance of heroine. because i love him, his addiction often give me fears of loosing him. when ever i read about famous actors, singers dieing due to addiction of heroine it makes me think of him. he smoke heroine, he don't sniff or inject. is the depression about the movie is actually the fear of loosing this guy? or have i really lost my brain?

Hi .....I think I know what movie your talking about. The movie was a sure success! And a copy of an old movie.
The last part was sad and yes painful to see him commit suicide. After reading your situation, I think it's because of the guy that u have a crush on. Maybe get some help for him.

thanks keesha but it is not some normal situation. that movie has a famous song. at first i loved the song. but now the song is haunting me. i mean when i called my crush he was watching a movie as well. it was 3 in the morning. he angryily call the call and diverted as i was annoying him. i am not mad at his behaviour but this non stop song in my head.. imagining the actress remembering his way of loving while watching another couple. reminds me of my crush.. we had nothing intimade just kisses and hugs.. but this is really effecting me .. i feel it is OCD

Sounds like this movie really hit home with you, hit a nerve. Examine why the movie affected you so much and analyze your fears. He didn't understand and probably didn't want to talk about it, because he doesn't want to hear that he could lose out to the heroin. Your fear is about losing your guy. If he keeps on with his extra-curricular activities, he very well could end up a statistic.

what i feel is that the guy in the movie somehow resemble this crush/ friend of mine. my friend is also trying to control the addiction. and the girl in the movie was also trying hard to make the guy stop his addiction. she lost him because , firstly he was a loser and didn't wanted the girl to leave her career for him. and i have a similar problem.. my guy is not agreeing for the relationship as he has gone through also and don't want to string me along... i guess i feared my guy dieing along with the movie.. though now i feel alot better but i don't know how will i really face the relity if something really haddened to my guy
