ever dated a cancerian man?

i'm an aquarian woman and am dating a cancerian man. We have been seeing each other for about 3 months, once a week. He is charming, intelligent, insightful and funny. We are having a great time together when we do see each other. He has told me about his shady past and says he wants to have clean slate with me. however he is horrible at calling! i feel like i am always the one making plans and wonder if that is just the way cancers are or is mine a special case. If anyone has had this experience in the beggining and it turned out well, please fill me in. He is great guy I just want to know what is up?

The calling is the only issue. He is a sweetheart. I guess we haven't really had the discussion yet about what we are. Maybe we should since the non calling thing is starting to bother me more... although i do like the fact that we are not super dependent on each other, there is a sense of freedom for me which I do like. But it would be nice to know if he feels the same way.
