true.. but would Aquas go back to there ex? talk to them after a break? start again? or would they cut them off completely?
Like I said there are certain deciding factors.
The girl I went out with for 6 years from when I was 15. It took 2 years, we got back together etc etc. Not your usual going disappearing act. There are girls who I've really liked but felt it wasn't right so I've cut it off and remained friends, there are others that I haven't remained friends with.

Never! Yesterday! All depends on factors like emotion pain, chemistry and such. The best way i can put is: I still love yes i still love you just slightly less than use to my love. Love is forever even though realationships are not. Point is, the love is forever even if i hope to never see that person again. To say you can wipe the slate clean and start anew isnt logical but when is the heart ever logical.
It depends. Some break-ups happen with myself 1st, get time to deal with whatever i feel, then break up for real with the person. Most of these are with difficult-to-deal-with people and i get over them quickly. Then there are those that are spontaneous (on the spot), example- i catch them in a lie & get outraged, etc. These take time to get over, like a year or so. I'm going through one of those as we speak, its been a month and I feel ok. I dont get sad or anything, i just obsessively think about what happened, minute by minute. I never go back to exes except for one.
LOL its not the same as asking if you'll get back with a abusive person! oh dear child i hope that is a definite no. But then again i can see the possibility IF that person became some spiritual being. that the possibility that i could go back to them.

As in, getting over the humiliation of rejection, regardless of whether you were personally invested in the particular guy.

I agree with the --love is forever-- part for me. If I "really" loved you, I will always love you but it doesn't mean we will be together.

Unfortunately people have told me to not say that to them because it gives them the wrong idea. Okay I don't say that exact thing but "You have a place in my heart because you're special to me" is a no no.

My Aqua Ex left me for his Aqua Ex. Then, he came crawling, crying, and begging to come back. (Long backstory.) And I was like "Hell no". We can be cool i.e. I don't want anything to happen to you... but, I can't take you seriously as a significant other.
