I met an aqua man while I was on jury duty. I know he was attracted to me, but because of his job I don't think he can ask me out. How should I approach him?

Regarding his job, he isn't/wasn't a bank robber on trial or anything is he?

First of all curb the desire to plot and plan his capture, no game playing. He will probably be aware of what you are doing and then have to decide whether to pretend he doesn't know or object to it. Either way he wont be happy putting up with it now or in the future.

Second, get him out of the court room - unless it involves a prison break.

Third, keep the invite friendly and informal. Aw we aren't gonna see each other again. I've enjoyed getting to know you - insert male ego boost extra here (kind, thoughtful, interesting, or other slight compliment) - how about we meet up for a coffee. Since hes already told you his star sign You've obviously made enough of an impression for him to start opening up.

Four, check your Libra desires before asking - are you in love with the idea of being in a relationship (any relationship being better than being single for a Libra) or is this someone you could actually love.

Five, flirt with him a bit - but make sure its sincere and honest flattery. Don't drown him in it, just a couple of comments or the occasional body touch. If he's got a real Aqua head on his shoulders he will pick up on it.

Six, when the time seems right and you are comfortable be honest and open with him.

Seven, expect the possibility of him wanting to think about it for awhile and give him the time to do that. But no longer than a week without some form of contact from him.

Alternatives

Cover yourself in plasticine blocks and wires, take the courtroom hostage and demand his undying love as the price to save everyone.

Hold up the trial decision forever.

Strip nekkid and dance on the judges bench singing heh fiddledy dee, its an Aqua man for me

Not knowing his job and the nature of the barrier its hard to give a real accurate answer.

Harlequin - thanks for the laugh! He definitely is not a bank robber or the person on trial. The problem is that I have never had a 1/1 convo with him, and there is literally no way I will ever see him again (unless I commit a crime and I don't think that would turn him on). So, I figure I've got nothing to lose. I was thinking of just mailing my business card to his office with my cell # on it. What are your thoughts on that?

Just walk right on up to him, flash a huge smile and say "hey, I'd love to have a coffee with you, let's go!"

We like different, and this kinda thing is wicked gutsy - it's impressive.

Just do it, swallow those nerves and do it - he'll be shocked and delighted!

Nods at NZAquas comment. Just have a back up retort in place in case the fool says no.

Ah ok, sorry - I mistook you for a man that might appreciate a strong drink of something with a confident and complex flavor. But now you mention it, I can see your more of a lightweight decaff kinda boy. I'm sorry if asked more from you than you are capable of giving, it could have been FUN getting to know you better, sorry to have troubled you."

Look him in the eyes, wait a few brief moments for him to change his mind - and if he doesn't - walk away with your head held high, his loss.
