I think from reading all of the comments over the past couple of years.. that air signs.. like Libra and Gemini might have a chance of either stopping the dissappearing act or maybe we just dont notice because we like space also. I do know one thing..my friend stopped the dissappearing about a year and a half into the relationship. We recently had a fairly serious talk and I told him I really dont want him to go silent.. he told me he wouldnt... and he didnt.. maybe it takes them awhile - he said he respected me too much to do that....

I think with an Aqua, provided you keep his/her attention they're pretty much going to stick around. And by grab their attention I mean in various ways....like PFE said, humour, but I think this goes as far as good conversation, spontaneous fun, looks, an adventurous spirit (in and out of bed🙂) All these things would make an Aqua stay if they are within his/her liking. The trick I suppose is to have these qualities NATURALLY - you shouldn't have to put in effort or not be yourself in order to keep him from going off. If you don't have them naturally you'll eventually tire of keeping up the front and tire of keeping him entertained and probably not enjoy the relationship....so if he does go off and you're just being yourself you're probably not right for him and vise versa...sad but true.

So yah, be yourself.. An aquarian accepts you as you are so there is nothing to gain by hype, and if there is something you don't in particular like about yourself, just bring it out cause we see people as complete, meaning we've already accepted it and if you don't, we will only try to show you how much we don't care (by bringing it up every other other minute... if we can wait that long) love yourself.. and we're hooked

See, there's three kinds of people: dicks, pussies, and assholes. Pussies think everyone can get along, and dicks just want to fuck all the time without thinking it through. But then you got your assholes, Yum. And all the assholes want us to shit all over everything! So, pussies may get mad at dicks once in a while, because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes, Yum. And if they didn't fuck the assholes, you know what you'd get? You'd get your dick and your pussy all covered in shit!

I tried breaking into the ranks a while back but nothing seems to be working out. I've been forced to work at a regular job now since I depleted most of my fight earnings since the start of the year. Not to mention the back surgery. In the end I know that these are all excuses but I realized sometimes it's just not your time. What have you been up to? Haven't heard so much as a peep from you as of late.

Harsh, man, but perhaps it's better for you - an opportunity to unleash your inner Einstein.

I enrolled in some military-academy program, did it mostly so I would have time to evaluate my options. A wasted year all in all, but I met some really interesting people that I probably wouldn't have otherwise.

It's still a dream I hope to fulfill seeing as I still have some time left to do so but you know how reality tends to bite you in the ass right when things get good. You're probably right though. My inner Einstein's been dormant since the 6th grade. Maybe it is time to wake him up again.

Oooh cool! What kind of program. It sounds interesting. Exactly what did the experience consist of? You;re probably in some good shape then I'm guessing. I don't know if you'd call that a wasted opportunity. Seeing as you met some really cool people during the duration of the program it seems you got some social networking done. It could come in handy down the road by knowing those people and having that experience, you really never know.

"What kind of program."

A pre-med thing. Convinced me Medicine is not for me(doctors are practically shat upon in Israel. In the public section, at least).

"Exactly what did the experience consist of?"

Nothing too exciting. Sitting on my ass trying to stay awake through physics was the greatest challenge.

"You;re probably in some good shape then I'm guessing."

Alas, haven't really managed to exercise properly since I got here.

Didn't think about the networking aspect to be honest. It does make me feel a bit better about the timesink.

Well at least you know now that it's not for you. There's no point in pursuing something that you don't enjoy or won't help improve your life in some form.

What the hell lol!?!? That's it? At least you got some sleep done lol.

"Alas, haven't really managed to exercise properly since I got here."

Well you were pretty busy trying to stay awake through physics. I'd call that a form of mental exercise if anything.

Doesn't seem like a timesink at all does it now eh? What will feel like a real timesink is the time between now and when you pick up another opportunity. Trust me. The worst thing you can do during this period when weighing your options is squandering the time in between finding it then doing it.

This seems like a good advice. A thing that that should be obvious, but somehow isn't. I'll take it to heart.🙂

It's been nice talking to you, DK(and somewhat shocking, what, with you being serious and all😛), but I gotta run(well, walk briskly), Saturday dinner is awaiting.
