What are these silences?

I have been seeing an aqua guy for a while now (someone i previously dated 2 years ago, but distance and both of us being too busy led to it fizzling out).

I'm wondering about these silences we have. They don't happen that often, sometimes if we are walking along, or driving somewhere there will be long silences bewteen us.

I'm pretty shy and if i don't have anything interesting to say, i simply won't say anything. We definitely connect on an intellectual level but i worry he may think i'm boring. Then again, the silences aren't uncomfortable as such but make me feel slightly self-conscious. Any input aquarians?

I dont find anything wrong with silences.
In fact: If I am able to have a long silence with someone and feel no awkwardness that is a major sign to me. It shows I am comfortable with the person, thats what an aqua needs.

If theres no indication that its a problem and you two are just fine with one another. I think its a non-issue.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with silence every once in awhile. Now, if you can sense that during the silence there's some uneasy feelings between the two of you, that's a different story. But if after the silence, things quickly pick back up (and nothing appears to be wrong) it shouldn't be something to worry about. You, yourself said that when you get silent, it's because you just can't think of anything to say & he's probably the same way. When Aquas are silent for a brief period of time, we're probably just thinking or our minds are on different things. I think we Aquas like this, when we can have a good conversation, get quiet for a moment & still feel a connection in general with them (It lets US know that WE are comfortable with THEM). But it's when the 2 people are so afraid of boring out eachother that they talk just to hear themselves talk that we get bored the quickest!!!
