You can find lots of helpful tips on Monster.com, but the most consistent good advice I've ever received are the following:

.. learn what you can about a company before the interview.

.. ask questions.. don't just answer them..

.. have an idea of where you'd want to fit in/ at any of these jobs-- where your skills are most useful

.. if salary requirements are asked, then give them a RANGE ( do some research on how much a person in your city/ in the position you're interviewing before get paid.. and make that your base.. and make the top about 10K more than that) 35K - 45K.. something like that..

.. wear power colors

.. send a thank you card/letter within 2 days of the interiew (re-iterate your strengths in the body of the letter)

Thanks guys. Nah no website, already looked, but I'll look up day spa's in general and try and suss it out a bit more.

I think Ill go okay with the medical centre one, Ive always worked in the medical industry so I know pretty much everything I need to and all the lingo for that. They have so many acronyms!

My last job was 36k (in australian dollars) so hopefully Ill get that or around there. As for power colours, well its summer and I want to seem..fresh so Ive got white/light grey pants and a white top. But the pants make my bum look good and the second interviews with a guy, so you never know........hahha only kidding.

Thanksssssssssss

In general I'm horrrrrible at interviews but I now know why, because I never think about what I'm gonna say ahead of time... so that is my advice: think about possible questions ahead of time!
Interviews are so funny, they either go awful or my best ones have gone ReAlLy well I try to be very polite and well mannered and smile at the right time and try to be charming, sit straight and nod and atleast pretend to pay attention to every single thing they say as if you're analyzing everything, if they mention responsability put on your serious face as if to say 'look at me, responsability written all over me' Punctuality? act as if not being punctual is disgusting! Hmmm I can't remember how the wording actually went but yeah body language very important.

My worst interview ever was a when I applied at a store back when I was in h.s. I go into the office where I was interviewed by the store manager who is a total biatch TOTAL and her assistant. Well I ended up sitting too on the edge of a chair and when filling out some form I dropped my pen which went under my chair... I was kinda nervous so I remembered reading that you have to feel comfortable... the damn chair was kinda wobbly and I kinda scooted back too hard and nearly toppled over as the chair went sideways and I went something like 'whoaa!' and they just stared at me. Then came the questions where my main answers went something like 'ummmm ummm' then they asked 'what made you apply here?' ..... 'ummm i was passing by and the store looked very..... (long pause) comfortable' nooooooooooo! To top it off I kept fighting laughter because I kept remembering how I had almost fallen out of the chair. Anyway, needless to say.... I got hired! Ok not at that time but for christmas of that year because my friend worked there and the manager really liked her 🙂 I give myself credit for her growing green hair as she put it lol
