What are the collective thoughts on this planetary placement? I like to think of it as the goth sign...

^^^An unexpected inheritance...^^^
@Lisa:Your post kind of sounds like Freudian thinking to me. Always thinking about the sex drive as being the central energy people act on, even if they are not doing anything sexual.

Yea it is. I don't completely agree but I don't completely disagree either. He kinda uses sex as a metaphor for everything that we appreciate in the world... I do think that sex is so inspiring that it is holy and deserves to be treated with respect, so I'm not that comfortable just throwing my self on girls like some guys seem to be. The way I see it that is all rooted in anxiety to get layer. I'd much rather have really warm, loving, empathetic sex that means something.

I have Mars in Libra so naturally Mars in Aqua works for me. Visuals and mental are more important to the both of us compared to physical sensation.

"If a woman's Mars is in Aquarius, she can be most impressed by men who are somewhat unconventional or kooky in their choice of clothes and overall style ."
I disagree with this. I have mars in Aqua and although, I like a man who is his own person and has his own opinions (can think for himself), I don't like those that dress out of the norm. This may be because I'm from a small town and have been influenced by that or could be my capricorn sun.

Well, I have been told "you're your own person aren't you". Yes, if everyone else likes something, I'll pick something else. For instance, a few years ago everyone had crushes on Tomo Romo, but I had a crush on Jason Witten. Now EVERYONE likes Witten, so I'm going to have to find a new Cowboy to crush on.
I don't respect people who don't think for themselves, inform themselves and draw their on opinions on a subject. So many people base their opinions on the popular choice or heresay or what other people have told them.
I don't think I'm gothic, but I LOVE Halloween and scary stuff and dressing up in gothic ways for Halloween, so, ehhh, maybe there is a little bit in there.
I don't like being pushed into a corner. I'll come out fighting. If you pressure me to make a decision before I have time to think it out the answer will be an immediate no or it will be the answer you don't want to here because I'll prove a point out of spite that you're not going to push me. (hmmmm, maybe why I understand aqua men for the most part).
I like to debate for the sake and fun of debate. I'm not expecting to change your mind, or you will change mine. I just like to know what makes other people tick and why they think the way they do. But, I expect you to try to understand where I'm coming from as well.
I like this part of what Lisa wrote: "She wants an interesting man. He can certainly be handsome, but boring? Hardly. A man with a brain is important, although she won't be attracted to a brainy type. Somebody who is perceptive, a little unconventional, and perhaps somewhat aloof is most attractive. Rigid or boring types simply won't do".
A many doesn't have to be handsome as long as he is charismatic and interesting. I don't like nerdy types, I like manly men. I don't care if their ideas are unconventional (as long as they dress conventional) And yeah, although it frustrates the HELL out of my scorpio venus, and hurts me occasionally, I'm attracted to aloof men. Men that are all clingy, lovey dovey, words without action turn me off and make me want to run. Aloof men make me want to stay. It's a challenge I like to try to get underneath that aloofness to the person inside. It's rewarding when you do.
