Please help! Need advice on an Aquarius man...

Hello there, Well i have been getting to know an Aquarius guy through a dating site, we have been exchanging messages and also chatting on the phone for about two months! We have tried making arrangements to meet on several occasions, but we live far apart from each other, he is also quite high profile and a very busy man! There is definitely an attraction on both sides but not sure how he really feels about me? I think I'm falling in love with him... I'm a Cancerian but not a typical cancerian, I'm an artist, have a very quirky, fun loving personality and I'm not over emotional and clingy like your generally perceived cancer! I love his quirky and kinky side. But! A few days ago i logged into my old account on dating site and noticed he was on there? I know we are not exclusive or anything and he continues to message me, calling me gorgeous and such... What do you think is going on in his mind?

Well elusive is usually relative to the gravity of a situation which is also proportionate to how much you're actually thinking about the topic.

1. Have you met him? I'm guessing no yet so there's a lot to be said here. Not saying you guys won't fall in love when you meet but you are jumping the gun.

2. High profile and busy? Define that for me, what does he do that he cannot find time to meet someone in the space of two months. I can understand if you live on opposite sides of the world which I beg to question why would you then take this seriously. So if he's within driving distance I'm going to call him lazy or not that into you or (leading on to 3)

3. He's still on a dating site. Which one? Is he selling himself for a relationship on this dating site? Dating site usually follows the logic of having many suitors, usually, but you might very well be the rare gem he found. As for what it means I hope you are not looking to us for an answer because you might just be another girl he finds comfort in talking to online or that he genuinely forgot about his progile or if he figured you guys were not compatible then there's less effort in putting up another profile.

4. You must be gorgeous then because it's a simple compliment. Why not just take it as it is? Would you prefer if he called you "somewhat gorgeous"?

5. Your understanding of this dynamic not being exclusive is purely from your end as you make speculations. Speculations they will stay until you actually ask him about it. Which then can lead to many possibilities which would include the good and the bad and possibly the weird.

6. You cannot possibly figure out what goes on. No one can. I can only figure myself out, anything else is just a guess. I genuine suggestion would be to stop fussing over it.

And I cannot english tonight so I'm going to bed.

Honestly I have no fast and hard rules to what I do. I can give you examples of where I usually do one or another. Most importantly however is I never take online 'things' seriously. NEVER. Not until I physically met them.

He works in the film industry and he works away overseas quite alot, he is away at the moment. He also has a couple of other businesses of his own! He has two small children that he has every other weekend (when he is not away). He lives 130 miles away from me, when we have arranged to meet (him driving to me)he has ended up caught up in meetings! He has invited me to meet him in London too! I don't drive but said i would travel by coach.

He did say once that what we had going on was special and rare?

The dating site is one where you can see who is online, i actually found and pursued him... He then started to email me constantly and he seemed quite surprised that i was interested in him.

When i quizzed him about whether he actually did want to meet me or if he was just playing with me? He pleaded with me not to think that way and he was desperate to meet me...

The reason i have not asked him how he feels about me, is that I'm worried about scaring him off! Knowing how Aquarians and emotional pressure does not mix well.

Why can't you get involved in community art groups and meet guys normally?

my close friend is a fucking cancerian and she's in love with an african guy in Ghana she met online for 3 years and he's always getting money off her etc??_

we've been through all the talks with her about the situation but she just doesn't fucking listen she is deluded so now when she brings him up in conversation we just smile and nodd.

Well, I'm not as stupid as your friend, i am very smart and have already done my homework on this guy! He is divorced and his ex wife remarried, and it was he who suggested we meet!

I don't like normal guys (boring), i like a challenge and i am really very fussy! I'm recently separated also have small children myself... Sometimes you just click with someone, it happens you know and i actually met my husband through online dating, we were together 12 years and have 2 beautiful children, i do not regret anything about it and we are still the best of friends.

Do you mean Aquarians are childishly honest? If that's the case then i think i will just come out with it, when he phones me next! Friends with benefits sounds good to me for now... I would just have to keep my strong feelings for him under control. He isn't a young guy and quite a bit older than me, but we both act like we are twelve haha... Thankyou smellycat! By emotions what do you mean exactly? Is saying something like I'm missing you ok? Or i feel extremely happy when i hear from you?

There was one time when i wasn't feeling well and visiting my mum... I was taking a nap and he called me, after we chatted i mailed him to say that it was nice waking to the sound of his voice, he replied saying he thought that was a really nice thing to say!

I have been through a couple of periods of silence with him, when i haven't heard from him for a few days, at first i didn't know how to take it but now I'm more relaxed about it! But still the dating site thing is bugging me? Is it that he comparing me, not sure about his feelings or maybe doesn't trust me and looking for a back up?

It's not real until you meet in person. You are reading too much into it. Enjoy the conversation but keep in mind at this point it is only conversation. As an aquarius, he is logical and will think logically at all times about everything, even love. Throw emtions out too early and he will think you are not using logic and he will run. Realize when you are saying you are falling inlove with someone you've never met is not logical. Get it? Now dont say you miss him, say you missed talking to him. See what I mean?

I am aware i'm being a tad presumptuous in thinking that it's more than a friendship or attraction, and the scenarios running through my mind constantly, what if we meet and he is not how i thought he would be, do ground me somewhat!

The thing is there was a rather weird instant attraction for me! I had been on dating site for a few weeks and there was only one guy that i had made contact with, and he seemed quite nice... But we both agreed to stick with friendship as there quite a distance between us. Then Aquarius man popped up from nowhere and i felt an instant attraction to him, then after reading his description even more so! Totally different from anyone else i had come across, but i didn't contact him and carried on browsing... But from that moment on other guys did not seem so interesting! I eventually sent him a message and it went from there!

It's strange really... In his profile pic he looked rather grumpy and in his description he wasn't really selling himself at all, but he came across as very intelligent and funny!

We do need to meet and sort this out!

An update on my situation! He has been mailing me almost every day since he has been away, he is now back and we had long convo on the phone last night, we have arranged to meet tomorrow. I found out that he has moon in cancer and mars in cancer... So we will just have to see how it goes when we meet!
