HI! I think the Gemini cusp will help...being a fellow Air sign...do you know your Rising sign? I am an Aquarian female who had a very bad experience with a male Taurus...but, it could have just been him...it turned out he was alcoholic and possibly gay...but, not wanting to admit it even to himself...too many issues, the poor guy had...
I agree with CB...with love present and the ones involved "working on it", anything is possibe!
One thing about Aquarian guys (or are you the Aquarian?)...They like to be in charge...act like the romance is "no-big-deal" and he will take charge of it! Do not play games or try to make him jealous...these tactics will backfire...just try to have a "whatever" kind of attitude, without being cold...sound hard? It is! Damn! OK, with your rising sign in Sag...no wonder you don't feel like a Taurus...you have a lot of Sag qualities...Sagittarius is much more free-spirited and care-free than Taurus in my opinion, as well as more concern for the greater good of mankind...

Gemini is a sign that is most complex...so, again, I can see why you don't feel like a Taurus...but, be cautious of your Gemini side (as I am of my Moon sign...)
They seem to be too wishy-washy...and don't have a clue...too often...for some reason the Twins idea screws it up!
They are the least decisive sign I know!

yeah being part gemini really fustrates me at times, i cant seem to stick to one project or seem to stick to one idea or thought or dream! i seem to get new ideas and drift onto more things that are fun. just have to keep moving i guess.

Yeah, I'm Star...
Well, for me I am more Aquarius than Capricorn...but, my Capricorn side keeps me in line...extremely responsible, never late...stuff that bores the heck out of my Aquarius side! I guess I enjoy my crazy carefree Aquarius tendencies, so, I focus on that more as it is more fun and creative! But, when it comes to things that need to be done...I depend on Capricorn to peak out!
They say the Rising sign is your mask and is what you present initially when meeting someone. For me this is true...I wait to get to know people first before presenting my zany side...and if I am uncomfortable with someone...they never see the real me...
They say the Moon sign is more hidden...
I think it depends on the other planets and which sign they were in at birth also...I have my Venus in Aquarius as well...
My best friend is Aquarius (so, is my daughter) and I can see his rising sign in him...he has Leo rising and walks like he is king of the jungle...but, he laughs when I tell him that...we have amazing conversations and so much fun together! He seems mostly Aquarius to me...I absolutely love being with him! My daughter has Gemini rising...but, I feel she is mostly Aquarius also...we have great fun together too! I feel blessed!

Regarding the distancing...I think that is more an Air quality than a Fire quality...seems more Libra to me...
My mom and one of my sisters is Libra...they are pretty cool cookies when they want to be...
I have a good friend who is Gemini and she is not at all distant...
