Aiding Aries with emotional issues?

We started off strictly platonic. We met on an online site. Because it was platonic, I wasnt concerned with the fact that we hadnt met within the first couple of weeks. Then a month passed and he started asking to hang out. For the last few weeks I was extremely busy with my friends birthdays and mine so it never happened. (Im a Virgo and the bulk of my friends are Leos).

There has been a sudden switch in climate and I started sensing he wanted to explore perhaps a "dating" realm. The issue is, he has let on that his past isnt the best with women and some times when we talk about relationships I can sense his trust issues with women and how they have affected his self esteem.

So last week he joked about me "taking him on a date" and I was hesitant; not knowing in what capacity he meant. My questions are: How do you help an Aries be more bold when based on things Ive read they should already be and 2. He's been extremely busy lately and although the communication is still there, its lagged a bit; how should I kickstart that again and finally go out?

Not all Aries are going to be bold. At least not immediately. Show him you're interested. Aries men and women do not like to chase unless it's for something worthwhile. I'm sure as soon as you give him the ok, he'll be after you. Just let him know that you like him.

He's by calling a lot because he's busy. Aries people can be a little self involved when it comes to work. As long as he's still calling and talking, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure he's giving his parents the same kind of "treatment".

Awww..I'm a big fan of Aries & Virgo pairs.

I met my Aries boyfriend off a dating site. I loved his intelligence but he definitely won me over with his kindness.We were chatting one day and I told him I have a severe toothache so he suggested I apply some ginger root on it. I've never heard of that before so he took the chance to tell me "look I can buy some on my way to work, my work is in your area". So I met him on the corner of the street and I couldn't help but stick my fingers in his hair - that looks so weird when I type it but at the moment I couldn't resist..I always like playing in people's hair. He looked at me like I was the weirdest person he ever met. I thought I could accompany him to work, to get a chance to thank him. We got in front of the building and he suddenly said "Well..would you like to go out some time?", so I instantly said yes.

Throughout the first 2 weeks of us dating, he never made a move on a point, to the point I was confused whether he was actually interested in me- I mean we spent a lot of time together, slept in the same bed, watched movies etc at his house or mine. One morning over breakfast I realized I really liked him a lot, so I had to know if he also liked me. It went like this: (still laughing about it 2 years later)

Virgo: SOOOOO, we're the bestest of friends, aren't we?
Aries: (blank stare)
Virgo: Well you told me everything about your life and I know you see I'm interested so I have to assume you really think highly of me as a friend.
Aries: Really oblivious one?
Virgo: Oblivious about what?
Aries: Me liking you
Virgo: BUUUT..you never made a move
Aries: Chivalry isn't dead. And I have more cliches to throw at you if you want.

I was in mid laughter when he leaned over and kissed me.

Yup, having fun worked for us. I once asked him about the way he approaches freedom in a relationship and the need for space (his aqua venus is strong) and he replied:

"Well, for us Aries it's like this. We need all the space in the world to roam but if you treat us nicely and have some strawberry bushes in your garden (he loves strawberries and all types of berries), we will always come back. And then you pet us and we run away...and then again we come back" 🙂)
