bro i tried my best to make it clear of my intentions when i said that in one of my previous posts, if you still cannot understand im at a loss and remember god loves you.
Schools are more crowded, life is more ramped up, school officials are told to not get involved with student quarrels (let the Police handle it when it gets bad etc etc). Being gay is a sin to some parents, I went to college with so many people that were told by their parents that if they were gay or wanted to go to school for something other than medicine or law they would be disowned and yanked out of college etc etc.
At least in quieter times people who were gay had only one place to go, and it was cool and underground and nobody bothered you there. Now the world is open and raw and everyone wants to hate on each other for just being different, and with everyone so unique these days, that tends to be a lot of ammunition for those who want to pick on other people.
I grew up in various tough places and having to guard a younger brother for being the heavy kid and watching a sister suffer from the pressure of teen life, made me believe just as much as everyone else that high school life just sucks for most people. I was lucky to have had a great high school life, but it didn't stop me from seeing what friends and outcasts were put through.
I know there is a lot of hate on the internet and to think "omg wtf why is that girl getting beat up for being unpopular on FB". I hate to see the story where the Moms are hating on other teens etc etc. It is so Maury Povich and needs to stop already, agreed.
But all teens who feel they can't escape their pain is a very very sad thing. We should be thankful we made it out alive and definitely offer encouragement for anyone going through a rough time.
Definitely encourage them to not do the facebook/myspace bullshit and stick to studying and doing well in school to the best they can, cuz it is way worse to be stuck after graduating high school with the same people in town.
