We usually categorize signs by their element, quality, and polarity. But I found an interesting astrological concept that classifies the signs as personal, interpersonal, and transpersonal.Personal Signs - Aries, Taurus, Gemini, and Cancer - are principally aware of and concerned with individual concerns.
Interpersonal Signs - Leo, Virgo, Libra, and Scorpio - are principally aware of and concerned with social and societal concerns.

It seems to me an Aries (pretty much the only one who took this offensively) believes that Aries such as herself are humanitarians and were unfairly placed.
I believe, as did Sagmind, that said Aries was not seeing the big picture and was focusing on details - negative details - just as a sign withing the Personal category would.
I think it should be understood that being "principally aware or and concerned with individual concerns" doesn't necessarily mean self-centered, selfish, etc. (I find Aquas to be some of the most self-centered people in the universe.)
Being "principally aware of and concerned with humanitarian and existential concerns" is not a higher rank or more positive than another category. Just a different mindset.
But seriously, it's not that serious. These categories weren't invented by Sagmind...he found them elsewhere and shared them here since he found it interesting. I don't think anyone should have been offended...but since the bullish chick feels she does not belong in the Personal category cause she's "generous and cares about people!" (ffs) she has made it her personal crusade to make shitty points and prove someone wrong.....

do you think that those groupings are the reason why say... i, as a taurus may seem selfish. and you, as a sag, may seem self righteous?
it seems like those in the first grouping, which i belong to, get asshurt and throw a fit when we and people we like are being insulted. whereas people from the last grouping get their panties in a twist over seemingly everything and end up in crusade mode.

That's not the case.it's probably one of the reasons that aquas and sags make such good presidents (even if some of them fail ass at marriage/raising kids) whereas cancers (dubya) and taureans (hitler) haven't done so awesome in politics but we're two of the signs that are best at being all domestic and married-like.
totally different focuses and strengths. not that no sag or aqua is good at being married, and i'm sure there's people in politics that are one of our signs that are doing pretty well.
i will say though... if there is ever one emperor of the world i sure as hell would rather it be an aqua or a sag than a cancer or a gemini. yikes.
